I stretched my hand forward, and a thin, hair-like string appeared on my wrist while the other end of the thread went to Emi's wrist. It quickly wrapped her wrist and vanished.
"What was that?" She looked at me in confusion.
"Well, I didn't know how to deal with this creature here, nor could I break these runes. So, I am sharing my power with you temporarily. Now, focus on your eyes, try to see the world through a different vision.
I had attached her with the strings of love, because I had the feeling that the overlord-grade monster was a big deal. I might not be able to handle it, since I appeared, I hadn't even seen him, but he almost got to see all my powers. Let alone the demoness I burned, even she was more than enough to get me killed if not for Emi's unexpected help.
Now, all I wanted was to leave with Emi.
