I looked at the ground, where that crimson rune was holding us in place. I used my earth element, trying to manipulate the rune, in order to escape.
"You don't have to struggle; there is no way out." The demoness walked up to us, staring right into my eyes.
No matter how otherworldly her charm was, I couldn't fall for it a second time. I activate my void eyes in order to see if they would let me cross this invisible blockade created by this rune.
As I activated the eyes of the void, the surroundings instantly fell into absolute darkness, and multiple silver strings came into my view. A huge net was formed around me; these silver strings were specifically woven into a trap around me. Its density was higher compared to that of the one covering the entire sky.
"Rick~" I heard Emi's voice. She was looking at our surroundings with shock and fear. I saw her hand passing through my body, as if I wasn't even present there.
