I heard a choking sound behind me but I paid no mind to it " Have you lost your mind? How do you suppose we do….", my hands flared around aimlessly "….what you suggest?".
He gave me a pointed look before pushing off his seat " They already know you're here", he said simply "so hiding you will be very pointless".
He stepped around the desk slowly, eyes fixed on me "The only thing we most likely can do now is wait for them to act. But…", he paused" Unfortunately" his jaw flexed " Ive not been particularly good at waiting".
