The Gladstone family stepped inside, looking around.
"This is really grand," Isabella whispered.
"Of course," Benjamin said, feeling proud of himself for getting the invite to such a grand event.
Isabella looked around again. She was hoping to see anyone she knew so she could mingle, but her attention was caught by a familiar figure across the room.
She stopped walking, her eyes widening.
"Is that Loretta?"
Benjamin and the others followed her gaze.
Near the center of the grand ballroom, Loretta stood beside Kevin. She looked nothing like the woman they used to know.
