I leaned in a little closer, lowering my voice to make it sound like a grand secret. "By saving others, you'll have free voices that'll help in spreading your magnificent name across lands and seas, isn't that what you wanted?"
" When you save a merchant ship, those sailors will go to every single port, every tavern, and every palace. They will tell everyone about the great Captain Priscilla, the white-furred terror who crushes wicked pirates. Your name will be on everyone's lips within months!"
"And who better to fight and prove your strength than other pirates. It wouldn't be fun fighting weak defenseless merchant ships now would it?" I added, trying to sound as convincing as possible.
