Keifer's POV:
I can't stop thinking about her. How does she do this to me, I have never felt this for anyone, not Ella, not Freya, none of them has made me feel this way and make me weak when I think about them.
"She's just so beutifa- "
Why did I say that, what if she heard me, she's going to overthink and feel like crap again.
"Huh?" She asked curiously. "Keifer... who where you talking about." Why did I do this, now she's overthinking. "Why are you jealous?" I wanted to punch myself in the face after saying that. I looked over at her and she looked genuinely hurt. What did I do, why am I like this? Why am I nervous to talk to her?
" Jay..." I asked "yeah?", " I-I was talking about you." I said looking down as she looked at me. She just stared at me, I couldn't help myself, I looked over and saw her smile and then tears started to fall from her eyes.
" Jay, are you ok, what's wrong?" I asked worried. I looked at her and saw her smile. "Nothing, y-you just scared me that's all." She said as she wiped the tears away that she just shed.
"Why were you scared?" "Remember you have nothing to worry about. You know why?" I asked. "Because I'm yours and your mine." We both smiled at what I said.
We rode the rest of the way to school in silence until, "Keifer, was any of it real? I know you answered this before, but I want to hear it again." I pulled over the car and turned to her.
I grabbed her hand "What do you think. Of course it was, I stopped the plan when I realized I was falling for you and everyone knew it so that's why they stopped as well, We all fell I love with you Jay. I just couldn't risk you getting hurt from all that had happened with the Inheritance and family situations. Because if anything were to happen to you." I took a deep breath. " I wouldn't be able to live." and just like that she was resting her head on my chest as her body wrapped around me. I kissed the top of her head. We stayed like that for a good ten minutes. Until nosebags one and two showed up.
"Umm what do you think you're doing their miss?" Aries screamed banging on Jay Jays window. " You all should be at the school by now. What are you doing with my sister." Percy asked, his dominance over Jay really scares me sometimes. But I guess it's good that she has two brothers who desperately cares for her.
" We were just talking." She says getting out of the car. I know she gets scared of them too sometimes.
I got out trailing behind her before catching up to her side
"You ready? You ready to take a step into our lives together." I asked Jay as she wrapped her arm around mine. " As long as you're with me during it then yes." She said looking at me. "Keif, I'm scared, what if we never see each other again. What if this is it. What if--"
"Hey" I said turning her face towards me. "Nothing's going to keep us apart. because guess what. Wherever you go I go and that's a promise ok." I swooped her into a hug and kissed her forehead.
"Promise?" She asked
"Promise." I added. Cupping her face in my hands and wiping away her tears.
"Alright you ready?"
"Yeah, let's go"
She wrapped her arm around me again making me smile and we walked into the Hall.
