They look at Lesser's passed out body, tears still falling down his face. Mary's face was still red. Her thoughts did not help to calm her down. Adam and Lee saw how the chest turned into gray sparks.
It took some time before the talk, and it was when they looked at the tomato red face of Mary.
"Hahahaha!"
"HAHAHAH!"
Adam was the one that laughed the loudest of the two. Mary looked at them, embarrassed, beginning to panicle.
"WH… WH.. What so funny?"
Her voice was stock, but did leave her mouth. It did not take a long time to stop their laughter. They did not speak about it. Because they had slowly fallen asleep. Everyone's body was in pain, over exhausted, and lacking in essence. It was a miracle to them how they were still standing.
It was quiet and calm. They did have some plan to have someone guard the rest of them, but they were too tired to do so.
Lesser's mind was tired, but there was a sound echoing in it. Not wanting to go away. Slowly taking form.
"One step a time."
The voice was familiar, but not right. The voice spoke, it was quiet and calm, but a hit of arrogance.
"One step at a time."
He was not dreaming, but it felt like one. One face surfaced, the slave girl's smug dying face. Like it was wanting him to move, to go. He tried to move, to hear what she was saying. But his eyes open, frozen in cold sweat. The last thing he heard was quiet, like it was whispered to his ear.
"You are not there yet."
He turned around, eyes open.
He saw the rest of his cohort sleeping soundly. He then looked to the entrance, the darkness was not as dark as before. He took some steps, looking outside. He saw three moons glowing.
The smallest was glowing in blue and silver colors. Calling his soul to have peace.
The second was the biggest, but had the least color to it. Gray and black, but lifeless was how he saw it.
The third was the one light gray.
Lesser felt he was missing something, but it was not fitting in pieces. Looking down to the lake, he saw more trees had moved to cover their destroying and killing comrades. But it was less than before. He turned around and walked in, only to stop. His eye saw something in the lake reflected. Only one moon was there, one hill, one tree.
He was not close to the lake, so how had he seen the reflection?
"WAKE UP!"
He opened his eyes, standing up fast. Dropping from his forehead, his sweat felt cold. Looking around he saw his cohort sleeping. He sigh. He looked at the entrance, the darkness had decreased. Taking some steps, his body froze at the entrance. 'Did I not just look?'. His eyes moving to the lake, nothing was showing, no reflection. Calming his mind, now looking around, the first he saw was the moons.
The smallest was glowing in light blue and silver colors. Calling his soul to have peace.
'Was it not blue?'
The second was the biggest, but had the least color to it. Dark gray and black, but lifeless was how he saw it.
'Darker?'
The third was the one light gray. Reflection, the endless looking islands.
A lone tree standing where they had fought. It was some distance away, but it was like his mind was screaming at him. He saw what looked like rope hanging on it, four people hanging there.
"WAKE .. !!"
He woke up. His mind is now feeling tired. He tries to stand, only to fall down to his knees. He looked at his cohort, all asleep. 'How come no one is standing guard?', was his first thought. He sighs, he begins to walk to the entrance. He saw the darkness had decreased. Taking some steps, his body froze at the entrance. 'Why did my body?'. Calming his mind down, he now looked around, the first he saw was the moons.
'Was it no smaller than the other two?'
The second had the least color to it. Black, like it was lifeless.
'Darker.'
The third was the one light gray. Reflection, the endless looking islands.
He looked down at the lake, it was reflecting the moons. He turned to see that the area that they had fought was still clear. Turning around, he saw vines and roots at the entrance. Looking up he saw a tree, hanging there.
He heard a sound.
".... …!!!"
He turned back to his sleeping cohort. The torch was standing still. 'Why is it not dancing?' He walked to it, then stopped. Turning around and walking to the entrance. He now looked around, the first he saw was the moons. They were glowing beautifully in the dark sky.
One was glowing in silver color. Making him feel at peace.
'Was it not blue and smaller?'
The second had the least color to it. Black, like it was the abyss.
'Darker!'
The third was the one light gray. Reflektion of the lake.
He looked down at where the lake should be. Only a tree was standing there now. He turned to see that the area that they had fought was still clear. Turning around, he saw vines and roots at the entrance. Looking up he saw a rope. He was about to hang himself, but a sound was heard.
"······ ·······!!!!"
He woke up.
His mind is now feeling dead tired. He tries to stand, only to fall down to his knees. Cashing himself on the wall. He turned to look at his cohort, all asleep. 'How come no one is standing guard?', was his first thought. He sighs, he begins to walk to the entrance. He saw the darkness had decreased. Taking some steps, his body froze at the entrance. 'Why did my body?'. He turned back to his sleeping cohort. The torch was standing still. 'Why is it not dancing?' He walked to it, then stopped. 'Why am I forgetting to look?' Turning around and walking to the entrance. He now looked around, the first he saw was the moons. They were glowing beautifully in the dark sky.
One was a big glowing moon, silver in color. Making him feel at peace.
'Was it not blue and smaller. Why is it bigger now?'
'Huh, what was that?'
The second was black in color, like it was the true darkness.
'Darker, Darker!'
The third was the one light gray. Reflekting nothing but a tree.
'It's different'
He looked down at the lake, where a small hill was. On it was a lonely tree standing. He turned to see that the area that they had fought was covered with trees now, more than ever. Turning around, he saw vines and roots at the entrance. The roots were trapping his feats, and the vines were trapping his arms. Looking up he saw a rope. It was about to hang around his neck, but a sound was heard.
"······ ·······!!!!!"
'Who is talking?'
He woke up.
His mind is now feeling exhausted. He tries to stand, but stops mid standing. 'Did I not fall last time, huh?' He thought was confused. Shaking it off. He turned to look at his cohort, all asleep. 'How come no one is standing guard?'. 'Why am I forgetting to look at my…?' Shaking some more, he turned around and walked to the entrance.
Was he beginning to go mad? he did not know.
He now looked around the entrance, there were vines and roots. 'When were they here?' Looking up, he saw three moons covering the sky. They were glowing beautifully in the dark sky.
One was bigger, and glowed in gray color. Making him feel at peace.
'Was it not blue and smaller? Why is it bigger now? Why is it missing it silver color?''
'Huh, what was that?'
He began to feel weird.
The second was black in color, like it was the true darkness.
'Darker, Darker, Darker!'
The third was silver in color. Reflekting nothing but a tree.
'It's different'
'When did it change to silver?'
He turned his head fast to the lake, on it was a hill and on it was a tree. 'There should not be a hill there.' He began to feel the roots cling on his legs, the vines slowly creeping to his arms. He jumped away and ran down the hill. 'Something is wrong!' Looking where they had fought, was now clear, but one lonely woman. He ran to her. She turns to him and tries to speak.
"Wake up ····!!!"
He was confused to what she was saying, was he not already awake, the one more voice sound behind him.
"······ ·····!!!!!"
'What?'
"Fool!"
Turning around he saw a tree, then he felt pain.
