Lina didn't think her life would change just because she moved to a new school.
She stood outside the gate, holding her bag tighter than she should have. Everyone already seemed to know each other. Laughing. Talking. Living.
She felt like she didn't belong.
"New student?"
A voice came from behind her.
She turned slowly.
It was a boy—calm face, cold eyes, no smile. He looked like someone who didn't waste words.
"Yes," she replied quietly.
He nodded once, then pointed toward the building.
"Class is that way."
That was it. No introduction. No friendliness.
But for some reason, Lina kept watching him walk away.
And she didn't know why her heart suddenly felt heavier… like she had just met someone important.
