"I really cannot say the location of the greater grail." Jeanne looked at Daniel with a bitter expression and shook her head.
She believed that Daniel definitely held dirt on her, but that was the fault of the so-called original Jeanne; it had nothing to do with her!
So, what did she have to fear?
"Tsk." Daniel clicked his tongue in frustration, "Fine, fine, don't say it if you don't want to. But if a fight breaks out later, you have to protect me. After all, although I want to steal the greater grail, I am not a participant in this Holy Grail War, but your cooperative partner."
What could Jeanne say?
She could only sigh that she was having bad luck this time, having partnered with such an outrageous companion.
"Come on, let's keep playing cards, let's keep having fun! Rocket!" Kriemhild slammed her cards onto the table frantically and shouted.
"What the hell! You used a Rocket on my pair of tens? Most importantly, we're on the same team! Are you crazy?" Sanzang looked at Kriemhild in astonishment and demanded.
"Nonsense, if I weren't crazy, could I have been summoned by him through compatibility summoning?" Kriemhild tilted her head and asked back at Sanzang, "Most importantly, I am his Servant, so of course I have to be on his team, even if he is the Landlord."
"master-Servant relationship is one thing, Dou Dizhu is another; don't mix them up!" Artoria glanced at Kriemhild unhappily, then frowned as she looked at the terrible hand of cards in her own hand.
There wasn't a single card higher than a ten!
"Sorry, a three." Kriemhild smiled and threw out the smallest card she currently had, then looked at Daniel, who was the Landlord and also the person next in turn.
"A two."
"..."
"Three with one."
"Beat that!" Sanzang slammed her cards down.
"Um, it's my turn." Jeanne raised her hand weakly to indicate.
However, no one paid her any mind. Everyone played a round, and Artoria threw out the first, and also the last, card she had played since the start.
"Bomb." Daniel looked at everyone with a smile.
The atmosphere at the card table instantly became heavy.
"Sorry, I'm out." After throwing out the final bomb, Daniel smiled and vacated his seat.
"Don't any of you stop me; today I am going to tear off that look on Kriemhild's face!" Sanzang stood up, intending to go after Kriemhild.
But Albedo, who was to the side, stopped her.
"Caster, we are about to arrive at the castle, please do not cause any more trouble."
Looking from the front window of the car, the Yggdmillennia Clan's castle was already right before their eyes.
"The city gate is a bit low and a bit narrow; our car won't be able to fit in." Aura turned her head to look at Daniel, "master, should we turn on the headlights cannons and blast that city wall down?"
"No, let's see what they intend to do first." Daniel stopped Aura.
If possible, he would prefer to catch them off guard.
"Shalltear, try not to show yourself before the war begins," Daniel reminded her, "The nominal leader of the Black Faction, Lancer, is extremely sensitive to vampires. If he discovers you, he will likely go berserk immediately."
"Yes." Shalltear nodded obediently in agreement.
"Berserker!" Caules Forvedge Yggdmillennia looked at Frankenstein, who was standing at the castle gate, and nodded.
"Mmm!" Frankenstein nodded heavily, then began to charge the war hammer in her hands.
Her task was very simple.
She just needed to demolish the gate before the camper van arrived.
It didn't matter if it was a bit rough, as long as she cleared a path for the camper van to pass through safely.
"Mmm—!" The war hammer slammed out fiercely.
First, it hit the lintel connecting the walls on both sides of the gate.
It was intentionally knocked away in a certain direction by Frankenstein.
The falling debris was also crushed into powder by the electrical current in the air.
Then came the walls on both sides.
Frankenstein used her war hammer to even more brutally clear out both sides.
The castle was now completely undefended from the front.
Let alone one camper van, even if it were half as big again, it could pass through!
Vlad III felt that in order to show his sincerity before Ruler, this level of loss was negligible.
Everything was for the sake of winning over Ruler to become an asset for the Black Faction!
The camper van slowly came to a halt inside the castle.
"Welcome to my stronghold, Yggdmillennia Castle, Ruler." Having heard from Gordes's report about the terrifying combat power Ruler had displayed, Vlad III stood firmly on the ground, looked at the camper van's door, and called out.
"The chefs of the Yggdmillennia Clan are rushing to prepare a feast, so please wait patiently for a moment."
Click.
Just as Vlad III finished speaking, the car door was opened from the inside.
Artoria stepped down from the vehicle, wearing modern clothing.
It was inconvenient to move around while eating in armor.
However, what made everyone present instantly alert, and even adopt defensive postures, were the two people following behind Artoria.
Sanzang and Jeanne.
"Ruler, can you tell me if those two Servants behind you are from the Red Faction?" Vlad III asked, suppressing his irritable mood.
"They are not," Artoria replied, looking coldly at Vlad III. "They are my assistants."
"Assistants?" Vlad III wore an expression as if he had heard something absurd.
"You don't think that a mere 7v7 Holy Grail War would warrant the dispatch of a Ruler with my combat power to supervise, do you?" Artoria replied, recalling the lines and backstory Daniel had fabricated in her mind.
"In other words, other anomalies have appeared in this Holy Grail War, which is why two additional Servants were dispatched to descend after you, Ruler?" Vlad III asked, half-doubting.
"You do not need to know the specific details," Artoria replied coldly. "You only need to continue with your Holy Grail War. Clearing out the anomalies in this Holy Grail War is our job."
"What if our Black Faction requests to cooperate with you to clear out the anomalies of the Holy Grail War?" Vlad III asked after considering for a few seconds.
"In that case, could you temporarily lend us the power of the two assistants behind you, Ruler?"
"Hmph, you actually brought it up. Black Faction's Lancer, Vlad III." Artoria sneered, then looked at Vlad III. "Since you have said this, then hand over the greater grail that you, the Black Faction, have hidden."
"The greater grail was hidden by the Black Faction before the Holy Grail War ended; this is one of the anomalies of this Holy Grail War."
Vlad III immediately wore an expression of utter disbelief.
