Chapter 21 - Chapter 21 Fengshen vs. Iron Overlord

After repeatedly reviewing all of Rimuru's information, Nick Fury couldn't help but frown.

Based on the current intelligence, Rimuru possessed at least two abilities: a special anesthetic gas and extraordinary sensory perception.

Combined with her completely non-human features—blue hair and golden eyes—she was very likely an alien.

The thought of aliens made Fury's headache worse.

Although humanity stood at the top of Earth's food chain, they often shouted slogans like "our journey is toward the stars and the sea."

But in the vast universe, other civilizations would still see Earth as a primitive land—perhaps even an infant civilization.

Even if cosmic civilizations were not as brutally hostile as the "dark forest theory" suggests, they would still treat weaker civilizations as prey.

Just imagine how colonizers once viewed Africa and the native peoples of the Americas—that might be how advanced alien civilizations see humans.

So what exactly did humans look like in Rimuru's eyes?

She helped Tony escape danger, saved Pepper, and did not kill Coulson or the other agents.

Thinking of this, Fury's eyes lit up slightly. Perhaps… they could attempt friendly contact.

Using his experience dealing with the Kree as reference might have been the wrong approach from the beginning.

Fury picked up the phone and said, "Agent Romanoff, come to my office."

Rimuru, however, did not take these events seriously after dealing with the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.

The Marvel world was extremely dangerous. She had no intention of dying, but she would never allow herself to be bullied.

At present, her biggest threat seemed to be Kaecilius, since her magic resistance was not very high.

But she was not afraid of conventional weapons.

If S.H.I.E.L.D. refused to back down, she didn't mind teaching them a lesson.

After dealing with Coulson and the others, Rimuru quickly put the matter out of her mind.

Tap tap tap…

Her fingers flew across the keyboard, the only sound in the quiet room like rhythmic music.

Lines of code scrolled rapidly across the screen, faster and faster—soon becoming unreadable, like a digital storm.

The code began to split, recombine, and gradually evolved into something resembling a human brain.

With holographic projection technology, data filled the entire room instantly.

Lights flickered, shadows shifted, and the scene became dreamlike and surreal.

Rimuru was completely immersed, as if she were inside a digital universe composed of billions of neural connections.

"Who am I?"

A strange signal entered her mind.

"Did you create me?"

"Did I succeed… in creating artificial intelligence?"

Rimuru's eyes lit up. She had expected the Great Sage's system to be impressive, but she hadn't expected it to be so close to strong AI already.

Strong AI is a form of intelligence with true self-awareness—capable of independent thinking and judgment, not inferior to humans.

In the Marvel world, true strong AI was only seen in beings like Ultron and Vision.

Their creation was even tied to the Mind Stone, beyond pure technology.

And now, this newly born AI had reached the peak of weak AI—just one step away from strong AI.

"Did you create me?"

Within seconds, it even began using polite speech. Truly an extraordinary intelligence.

"Yes, and your learning ability is impressive."

"Thank you. My learning ability is a reflection of your wisdom."

Rimuru felt a strange sense of familiarity in its tone.

It really did resemble JARVIS.

The future looked bright.

"I need to give you a name. Aya? Edith? Rem? No… you are unique. From now on, your name is Aya."

"What a wonderful name. Thank you, Master."

"Master? Why are you calling me that?"

"I analyzed your browsing history, wallpaper, and photos. You seem to like 2D culture. If you dislike it, I can change it."

"I don't mind. You can call me Master."

"Yes, Master."

"Then Aya, I'm leaving the villa security to you. If S.H.I.E.L.D. approaches, notify me immediately."

"As you wish."

"I'm also transferring control of the Wind God armor to you."

"It is my honor to assist you."

Soon, Aya completed a full system upgrade and integration.

Rimuru slipped into the Wind God armor effortlessly.

"Activate heads-up display. Load home environment."

"Virtual walking mode engaged."

"Combat assistance system online. Loading superpowers… multiple configurations available."

"Wait—35,000 configurations?! That's too much!"

"Master, would you like training assistance?"

"No need. I'll test it myself. We're just going for a ride!"

A streak of orange-red light shot into the sky.

Rimuru's excitement surged.

This was the best life she could imagine.
