Chapter 5 - Welcome to Lutherking!!!

Even after the soldiers fell, the battle was not over. They rose again and once more performed the combination of the circle and the square, unleashing a new wave of energy. However, Jhony was no longer troubled by the attack; he advanced with his head held high, roaring and pushing past the pain in his body. The young man charged into the shockwave, striking terror into the hearts of the military men. Jhony struck one of them, sending him flying to the opposite side of the carriage, and delivered a kick to the second, who impacted violently against the wall.

Jhony pinned one of the aggressors by the head and began delivering successive punches to his face. The blood on his knuckles mingled with that of his opponent, a testament to the severity of his own wounds. The remaining soldiers rose and charged together: one struck Jhony's face from one flank, while the other hit from the opposite side. The redhead, however, remained numb from the previous shockwaves and felt nothing. He released the soldier he held, who collapsed unconscious, and turned to the other two, taking them down with a single punch each.

One of the remaining soldiers stood up, formed the circular symbol, and fired at Jhony. The shockwave hit him, but it only served to amplify his fury. He charged forward and applied a sequence of uppercuts until the opponent blacked out. The last soldier tried to use the square symbol, but his attack manifested weakly. Jhony finished the confrontation with a front kick, leaving him unconscious.

At that moment, Yuji sensed something. He grabbed a piece of paper and began writing a brief note under Yasoke's curious gaze. The master folded the note and handed it to the youth.

"Open this paper when you arrive in Lutherking!"

Without understanding the purpose, Yasoke asked: "Why?"

Yasoke tilted his head, confused, but Yuji merely smiled. The man walked to the window, opened it, and crouched on the ledge.

"Wait a second, what are you doing?" Yasoke asked, desperate.

"Isn't it obvious? I'm going to jump!" Yuji replied.

"And how do you know it's the right dimension?"

Yuji responded with an enigmatic smile: "I've ridden this train many times! ADIEU!!!"

He threw himself out and executed a backflip, disappearing into the horizon. Yasoke watched the scene in disbelief, until a female voice echoed from the ceiling:

"Ladies and gentlemen, our next stop is the great metropolis of Lutherking!"

Yasoke panicked as he noticed Jhony's absence. However, the lights flickered again, unifying the train's dimensions. Looking around, he realized the part of the carriage where Jhony had been was devastated, while his own side remained intact. Before him, Jhony appeared: standing, bloodied and covered in bruises, surrounded by the three disfigured soldiers on the floor.

"We have arrived in Lutherking. Thank you for traveling with us. The doors will be marked in neon!"

The doors opened, illuminated by vibrant colors. Yasoke did not hesitate: he hoisted Jhony onto his shoulders and disembarked.

Yasoke's first sight was an imposing monument of a robust, muscular man. Adults and children gathered around the statue, surrounded by vendors in their colorful stalls. The pavement was impeccably clean and shining.

Remembering his friend's injuries, Yasoke decided to seek medical help, recalling Yuji's note. He rested Jhony momentarily on the ground under the watchful eyes of passersby observing the two foreigners. Unfolding the paper, he found the coordinates for the hospital and Yuji's whereabouts.

The note read: "When you see the statue, go straight, take the first left, then take the first right, and then turn right and you'll find the hospital :)"

Yasoke looked at the drawing of the smiley face with disdain but followed the instructions. Carrying Jhony again, he began to run. On the way, he encountered a majestic white staircase and climbed it hurriedly. At the top, he found a marble fountain with gold and diamond details; he wondered how such wealth wasn't the target of theft. All around, massive skyscrapers indicated they were in the city's commercial and corporate center.

Following the directions, he turned left and climbed another staircase, flanked by luxurious residences that left him stunned. At the end of the stairs, he turned right and found a vast shopping district. Shop windows displayed clothes, perfumes, and regional goods under the slogan: "Everything incredible you can find in the world." Marveling, Yasoke ran along the white sidewalk, turned right again, and finally spotted the hospital.

It was a colossal institution in full operation, with a vast team of nurses and renowned doctors. Yasoke approached the reception desk, but not knowing how to proceed, he consulted the back of the note. He settled Jhony into a chair next to an elderly man.

"This is the second part of the paper, hehehe :) Now that you've reached the hospital, tell the beautiful receptionist that Mr. Yuji reserved Room 116 :)"

Yasoke grew irritated with Yuji's insistence on smiley faces. Returning to Jhony, he noticed his friend was in the middle of a dialogue with the old man:

"It's just that in my time, things were calmer, you understand? Today, young people are having too many accidents. It's hard for a youngster these days to reach 150 years old, you know."

Despite the pain, Jhony only nodded.

"And there's more—the football team is horrible. In my day, they really played; strong boys," the elder continued, immersed in nostalgia.

Losing his patience, Yasoke put Jhony back on his back and addressed the receptionist:

"So, Mr. Yuji reserved Room 116 for me to use."

Yasoke smiled at the attendant, who reacted with an ecstatic gaze and rapid breathing:

"Yuji... alright, you're cleared. And tell him I'm available on Saturday."

While the woman twirled a lock of hair around her fingers, Yasoke ignored her and hurried toward Room 116.
