Conversation Between Nishi and Shreya
At the beginning of the story, Shreya confesses her feelings to Nishi, admitting that yes, she likes Gaurav. But she requests Nishi please not to tell this to Gaurav. Upon this, Nishi asks her, *"But how much do you even know about Gaurav?"* Then Shreya tells her some things that we will probably find out later in the story.
Gaurav and Rohit in the Library
After this, the scene changes and we see Gaurav and Rohit. Gaurav asks Rohit what Nishi is doing here? Rohit explains that he had forgotten that Nishi has also taken admission in the same college/school. Gaurav asks in surprise when all this happened? Rohit reminds him that yesterday, when he took Rohit's bike, he had gone to pick up Nishi. When Gaurav asks about his own bike, Rohit tells him that his bike is right where Gaurav's KTM is. Gaurav says that he has given his bike to Sahil for servicing. During the conversation, Rohit asks about Yash.
Gaurav says that he is fine and they had spoken just a few days ago. After this, Rohit asks Gaurav to come to the **volleyball team selection** happening at school tomorrow. Gaurav says he will think about it.
Marriage News and Sister's Phone Call
Upon reaching the library, Gaurav shares a major thing with Rohit:
* **Gaurav:** "Mom and Dad have fixed my marriage."
* **Rohit (shocked):** "When did this happen?"
* **Gaurav:** "A few days ago. The engagement is after 3 years and the marriage is 1 year after that."
* **Rohit:** "And you agreed?"
* **Gaurav:** "Never! I was already wanting to run away from home. Dad himself has kicked me out for 3 years. Now I am not going home at all. First my brother will get married, then me."
Just then, a call from his sister comes on Gaurav's phone. As soon as he picks up the phone, his sister says loudly:
> *"Congratulations younger brother! Elder brother has also agreed to marriage. The wedding is in 3 years and the engagement is tomorrow. But Dad has forbid you from coming, he has told you to come straight to the wedding. Along with brother's wedding, your engagement will also take place."*

Saying this much, she hangs up the phone. Hearing this, Rohit starts laughing and Gaurav looks at him angrily.
Team Selection and the Return of 'Devil'
After this, Gaurav tells Rohit to give his name for the team selection as well. Just then, Shreya and Nishi arrive there. Seeing Gaurav's bad mood, Nishi asks what happened to him? Rohit says he will tell later, right now they have to give the name for the team selection. Nishi says that Rohit has already given his name. Rohit clarifies that it's not his name, but Gaurav's name that needs to be given. Hearing this, Nishi says in shock, *"Oh, so the Devil will return!"* When Shreya asks the meaning of this, Nishi handles the situation by saying that Gaurav hasn't played any sports for the last 2 years, she was just saying it like that. After this, they all leave for their next class.
Meeting Sahil and Yash's Message
After school ends, they all go to meet Sahil. Sahil tells Rohit and Gaurav that their bikes are ready. Rohit tells Sahil that it seems he didn't recognize Gaurav. Then Gaurav removes the lenses from his eyes (although the readers cannot see his eyes). Recognizing him, Sahil becomes happy and says, *"Big brother! You have met after 2 years, glad to meet you."* Gaurav puts the lenses back on. Gaurav asks Sahil if he spoke to Yash? Sahil denies it and informs that just a message had come saying that **the championship is near**. Just then, a voice message from Yash arrives on Rohit's phone, in which a voice says: *"It is time to return."*
Gaurav starts his bike and says to Sahil, *"After a week, I should see you on the ground, not here at the shop, okay?"* Sahil agrees immediately. Upon this, Rohit says structural irritably that when he had said it, Sahil had refused. Sahil replies, *"You are not the captain that I will listen to you!"*
Bike Ride and a Sweet Moment
Gaurav passes near the school with his bike and stops near Shreya to offer her a lift. Shreya asks, *"You had the other bike (Apache), where did this KTM come from?"* Gaurav tells her that both bikes belong to him; yesterday the Apache was in service and today this one. Shreya sits on the bike and asks, *"How fast can you ride this?"* Gaurav says, *"At a speed of 130 on this road."* Shreya says, *"Okay, then let's go."* Gaurav warns her, *"If you feel scared, don't hold onto me."*
Gaurav starts speeding the bike at **150 speed**. Shreya truly gets scared and out of fear, she holds Gaurav tightly and clings to him. Because of this, Gaurav's heartbeat suddenly increases. When Gaurav stops near the apartment and asks Shreya to get down, there is no response. Looking back, he finds out that Shreya has fallen asleep. Gaurav wonders what to do now, and then he lifts Shreya in his arms and puts her to sleep on his bed in his room.
