Author's PoV:
So it's been 1 week since all section e and others have met Jay and today Jay have a practice match so she went there leaving all section e, girls, Keifer and Kade alone.
Keifer and Kade have grown close to each other and Kade calls Keifer daddy.
Keifer's PoV:
I woke up at 6:45 to a rustling sound I opened my eyes to see Jay struggling to tie her shoes while making a ponytail like who even does 2 opposite things together.
I sighed, got out of bed and went to her.
Keifer:Jay let me tie your shoes.
I said already kneeling to tie them.
Jay looked like she wanted to argue but didn't cause she had to reach the ground at 7:15.
I tied her shoes and she also had made her ponytail.
Jay grabbed her bag gave me a quick peck on the lips and started walking out of the door 🚪.
Jay:bye Keif and don't let Kade eat more than 1 chocolate 🍫.
Jay said as she got in her car.
Keifer:bye love and I cannot guarantee that Kade will stop from eating one chocolate cause he's just as stubborn as you.
Jay glared at me while blushing a little.
I gave her a flying kiss as her car sped off.
I closed the door and went to kade's room I opened his room door and saw him talking in his sleep 😴.
Kade:chocie please don't leave me....
I smiled softly at my son who is just like his mom I mean Jay also talks in her sleep about food.
Like mother like son.
I thought as I kissed his forehead and left his room so he could continue his dream.
I came back to our bedroom and went to the bathroom to take a shower before making breakfast 🍳.
While showering I heard a faint noise like sobbing coming from outside I immediately recognised that voice it's Kade cause whenever he couldn't find Jay or me after waking up he starts to cry.
I immediately completed my shower and came outside wearing only my shorts 🩳 and nothing on my upper body.
As Kade saw me he raised his arms wide open.
Kade: daddy….
I scooped him up as he wrapped his arms around my neck and hid his face in my shoulder.
Keifer: what happened buddy?
I asked softly while kissing the top of his head.
Kade:where mom?
Kade asked while sniffling.
Keifer: mom went out buddy for her practice today she'll come home in the afternoon or evening depends on her grumpy couch.
I joked softly.
And it worked Kade chuckled softly as he pulled away.
Keifer:have you brushed your teeth?
Kade:no.
I carried Kade to our bathroom cause we have a spare toothbrush for Kade
In our bathroom.
I made him sit on the slab and helped him brush his teeth.
After he brushed his teeth I asked him.
Keifer: you wanna take a bath or wash your face for now and take a bath after breakfast?
Kade: take bath now.
I nodded and started filling up the water in the tub 🛀. After the water filled up I removed his clothes and put him in the tub and started scrubbing his body softly as he played with the water and made me wet as well after scrubbing 🧽 him I applied some shampoo 🧴 in his hair and started massaging his head careful not to get shampoo in his eyes after that I put him in the shower and washed him after all the soap was out of his body I applied some conditioner on his hair and let it set for a min before washing it away as well.
After giving Kade a shower I wrapped him in a large towel and brought him back to the bedroom and laid him down on the bed and grabbed his moisturiser and applied it on his body.
Then I grabbed his clothes from our cupboard and made him wear them.
I also cleaned my self with a towel before putting on a shirt and and scooping Kade up as we both went to the dining room to see all section e and others arguing about something.
Keifer:Enough!
I said and they all fell silent.
Keifer:what is going on?
I asked
Ci n: mayo said pineapple belongs in pizza 🍕.
Oh thank god jay's not here otherwise we would have been attending mayo's funeral by now.
Kade who was listening to the whole conversation, jumped out of my arms yes JUMPED I swear to god my soul literally left my body for a minute.
Kade stood in front of everyone and put his hands on his hips.
Kade:Uncle mayo pineapple doesn't belongs on pizza.🍕
(Kade dose not know how to speak talago)
Mayo: it's your choice whether you like it or not on pizza.🍕
Kade: well... then your choice is weird.
Everyone burst into laughter including me.
Mayo looked deeply offended while Kade looked impressed by himself.
Mayo: I am not weird.
Mayo defended himself.
Before Kade could say anything that escalates the situation cause I know Kade is the male version of his MOTHER.AND BOTH OF THEM DON'T HAVE A FILTER.
so I scooped him up.
Keifer : what do you wanna eat?
I asked to divert his attention.
Kade: um.... pancakes 🥞.
I nodded and sat on the dining table with Kade in my lap.
I picked up 2 pancakes and served them to Kade with maple syrup.
I also served my self with omelette and a toast.
After eating we all were sitting on the couch watching something yes SOMETHING I don't know what it is cause Kade was sitting on the floor doing some drawing of dinasour and he looked extremely cute I can't stop myself from staring at my son I can't believe that I missed five years of his life I mean in those five years he had said his first word, taken his first step,
And I wasn't even there I am the worse dad I thought as my eyes became glossy. Then i heard the front door open and before I could even stand up Kade was already sprinting towards it.
Kade:MOM IS HERE.
I smiled softly and followed him to the door to see him hugging Jay tightly as if she'd go away.
I sighed and went to Jay as Jay saw me her became even more softer and tender she put Kade down and I pulled her into my arms.
She hid her face in my neck.
Keifer: you must be tired wifey.
Jay nodded as I scooped her up and Kade climbed on my back I brought both of them upstairs to our room.
I stayed with Kade to make him take a nap while Jay took a shower.
After many attempts Kade finally slept and I went to kade's room to let him sleep on his bed without any discomfort.
When I came back jay was sitting on the bed while wearing my hoodie and her shorts.
I went to her and made her lay down on the bed and I was about to go check
On section e but Jay held my hand.
Jay: don't go Keif.
My heart melted and I lay down beside her and pulled her in my arms as we both slept.
