Mrs. Ukpo seeing that nothing could be done except if she did the worst thing, started removing the food and water kept for the birds and the birds started getting hungry and thirsty. The eaglets and the chicks started dying of thirst and hunger . The eagle due to it sharpness started going out to bring food and water for the poultry. Also this made the cock and the hen to start picking foods from the ground anyhow to care for themselves and the sheets so has the survive. So when Mr . Ukpo found out about this. he stopped his wife from visiting the poultry and told his children to be taking care of the poultry. His wife seeing that she was about to lose out in everything made another plan to spoil the peace between the birds and her family. So one evening, She told one of her children to call the birds from her so that she could apologize to them but the eagles and his wife were out fetching for wood to warm their remaining egglets. So the hen and the Cock were told by the children that Mrs . Ukpo explain them was calling them that she wanted to apologize to them. The cock and the hen went to see Mrs.ukpo since she was stopped from coming to the poultery by Mr.ukpo. when they reached, mrs.ukpo. started crying and was falsely apologizing to them that she was sory about what happened. So the hen told her that they are happy now that they can now live together in peace and love without any sadness or fear. Mrs.ukpo who had planned to poison them with Kai Kai (whiskey) that her husband usually drinks to get high and warm now told them to drink it since they are all now leaving in peace.
