KS came back to reality and these spheres showed up right away.
A blue one and a red one.
.They spun around him slow and glowed strong.
The energy felt different from each other. Water and fire both.
Mizuki looked surprised at that.
"You just unlocked the fire element too".
KS blinked and said
" he did not know."
Tejas crossed his arms like he did not believe it.
Are you sure Ks?
KS laughed a little and admitted even he felt confused right then
"Ok, I just really don't know"
The battlefield got quiet after. Everyone understood KS was changing faster than expected. That part gets a bit messy to figure out exactly.
Later that night
His house later was big and quiet in the dark. It felt empty even with all the space. KS lay on his bed and tissues with blood were scattered near him. His body would not move right and breathing hurt. He tried to sit up but pain hit his chest fast.
"Danm it I just can't stand up"
Dragoon calmly say
"no need to push it. The body is already trying it's best"
The phone rang out of nowhere. KS answered after staring the screen.
Ks burst out of frustration
"So you really remember me after years"
Dev reply in very calm ans teasing way
"Come on buddy it's only two week I called you last".
Ks releas a long breath and ask
"So what's matter why you call me "
Dev laugh a little and answer
"That's the reason I didn't call you "
And his tone get serious
"So I just want to remind you about our mom's birthday this weekend".
Ks ask in softer emotion
"So you gonna come bro".
Dev answer in low tone
"Unfortunately no, as you know ks after Mom and Dad death I am the one who is dealing with all the business stuff".
Ks voice get lower
Yeah ,I know
A small pause
But
"It being six months I saw you" .
Dev voice get softer again
"I will try come as soon as I can".
And cut the call before Ks can say something.
KS put the phone one the bed , take a long breath.
And
Open the drawer next to his bed and pull a ring made up of pure metal and a bright blue gem on it's center out of drawer .
KS picked it up and silently stared at it.
Dragoon's curious voice echoed.
"…Whose ring is that?"
KS continued staring at it for a moment before answering.
"…It's the last thing my mother left behind."
The moonlight reflected softly across the ring's surface.
"In our family…"
"There's a tradition."
"The oldest son keeps this ring…"
"And one day gives it to the person he wants to spend his life with."
Dragoon sounded slightly confused.
"But as far as I know…"
"You are not the oldest son."
KS slowly nodded.
Still staring quietly at the ring.
Then smiled faintly.
"…Dev never wanted to keep it."
A pause.
"So unfortunately…"
"…it ended up with me."
Ks continue
"You know what Dragoon "
"...Whenever I see this ring I feel like my mom is just sitting next to me and patting my head"
Dragoon say in casual way
"From your it feel like your mom was amazing".
Ks reply with low energy
"..Yeah she was very awesome, she was always Postive, calm ,Always care about other and kind to all people no matter how they treat her."
A small pause.
"She was just amazing ".
Deep silence for some moments.
Dragoon break the silence .
"So you are going to give this ring to someone before you die".
Ks laugh a faintly .
"Yeah ,to someone who Is just like my mom".
And ks eyes fill with tears .
