"That means we go ahead without using the registry and without waiting for their messenger," Helion said.
He pulled the thick gold signet from his belt and placed it next to the inkwell.
"You write it," Helion instructed Estella. "In my own words, and sealed with my own signet. We send it directly through Lucien's diplomatic communication link to Arbiter Hale and Elder Isolde's secretary by midnight."
