Chapter 332: Eyes Above the Fog
The early morning sun had barely begun to crest over the high stone walls of the Rank One Apex Villa.
Draven stood in the center of the quiet courtyard. He looked at Estella. Her violet eyes were incredibly calm, betraying none of the tension gripping the rest of the Bastion. He had promised to stop managing her in the dark, and he intended to keep his word.
"I am telling you before I leave," Draven said evenly. "We are flying northeast. We need to see the column for ourselves."
"I know," Estella replied. She offered a small, amused smile. "Because I am coming with you."
