Chapter 240: The Seeding
Thirteen Miasma Clearing Towers hummed across the Northern plains.
They stood like massive, glowing sentinels of Star-Iron and pure emerald light. Behind them, the dead gray ash of the wasteland had vanished.
Smell of earth spread through the air.
Near the first tower, Lyra knelt in the dirt. She held a delicate glass gauge, which was used to measure the ambient mana density in the ground. The Alchemical team that worked under her had worked for long night shifts. They had been laying down the runic buffers that was required by the [Deep Root Cultivation Method].
Everyone was ordered not to plant a single seed until they received permission from Lyra.
The glowing silver liquid in the gauge rose. The threshold met as it crossed the thick red line etched into the glass.
"The threshold has been met," Lyra called out as she stood up wiping the dirt from her knees. "The soil is ready for plantation."
