Chapter 313 - JTH Chapter 313: Converging the Self

Could Ren Isana classify the talent of his summoned alternate self under the space-time category? Since he had been summoned over, did that count as having already converged with himself? He had inherited everything from that counterpart.

That naturally included the talent, right? That talent could only be used once, because after a single use, the user would cease to exist. But the most absurd part was that it gave absolutely everything to another version of himself!

"The talent must still be there!" Ren said with absolute certainty. He immediately began frantically searching through his own body. Even if the talent was truly gone, there should at least be a seed left behind, right?

Ren utilized Yukino's talent and the [Third Magic] to continuously scour his body. About half an hour later, deep within his soul, he found something nearly imperceptible.

Feeling the aura of space-time radiating from it, Ren's eyes instantly lit up. If he wasn't mistaken, this was his predecessor's sacrificial talent. Sure enough, it was still inside his body.

Upon discovering this little trinket, Ren was ecstatic. Talents really didn't just disappear; they remained dormant. With this in mind, he began to analyze the talent.

Using one talent to analyze his original talent—that made perfect sense, right? [Jianjigu] was omnipotent, especially now that his strength had reached such a level. The talent had long since become incomparably powerful.

Even if only a tiny seed remained, Ren could easily analyze it if he wanted to. However, parsing this particular talent proved more troublesome than he had imagined. Fully immersed, Ren completely lost track of time.

Unknowingly, time slipped into the next day. Ren had sat on the balcony for an entire night. By the time dawn broke, he had finally managed to fully sort out and reconstruct the talent.

"What a pain. Good thing I have enough Magic Power now, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to endure that at all!" Having finished analyzing the talent, Ren couldn't help but sigh. This talent... was truly absurd.

Sacrificing oneself to pull over the version of oneself with the highest potential. Ren's presence in this world wasn't an accident, because every version of himself that came to this world awakened a different talent.

And the greatest function of this talent was to search through countless possibilities to find the strongest version of himself and pull him straight over, allowing him to go further. Thinking of this, Ren couldn't help but sigh again.

If it were anyone else who awakened such a talent, they probably wouldn't be happy about it. Even another version of himself wouldn't necessarily use it. Who actually wants to die? Yet, his counterpart in this world had done exactly that without hesitation.

Although that version of him already had a death wish, how many people could truly make up their minds to do such a thing? While pondering this, Ren also began to study his newly recovered talent.

Without a doubt, this talent was incredibly special. It was also likely the key talent for his breakthrough. While analyzing it, a bold idea formed in Ren's mind.

It could summon parallel world versions of himself, right? If that was the case, then why not summon *all* the other parallel world versions of himself? As long as they existed, he would pull them all over and anchor them!

It wasn't as if the talent's effects couldn't be modified. For Ren, this was too simple. He had no interest in making clones or anything of the sort. With a talent like this, no matter how many versions of himself existed across the multiverse, he could reel them all back in at this very moment.

He only needed one. From now on, the space-time he inhabited would be his one and only space-time. No matter what the future held, Ren would create it himself, because Ren *was* the greatest possibility!

At the same time, this timeline was also the greatest possibility. With this thought in mind, Ren formulated a plan. *Does this count as converging space-time and converging myself? The Dragonia race's ability to reflect across the multiverse can probably be integrated right now too!*

Ren wanted to use himself to anchor himself, while simultaneously spreading his own power into other space-times. But if he could truly achieve that step, who knew what level his strength would reach?

After some mental calculation, Ren decided to converge himself first. He would gather all his parallel world selves, directly anchor himself, and ensure he permanently existed within a single timeline!

Having made his decision, Ren sprang into action. He began to frantically modify his talent, stripping away the sacrificial aspect and retaining only the summoning and fusion mechanics. Only then could he achieve his desired effect!

And because his approach was simple and crude, it wasn't difficult for Ren to accomplish. With a few minor tweaks, he had the talent perfectly adjusted.

"Then, let's begin!" Confirming there were no issues, Ren exerted his strength, directly activating the talent to pull all his parallel world selves over and fuse them with him.

The world lines began to converge. Ren didn't need any of their memories or abilities, because none of them were stronger than him. All that messy baggage was useless; all he wanted was for their existence to converge into his.

Following Ren's operation, the Rens of other world lines dissipated. Even the traces of their existence were erased by a mysterious force, as if they had never existed at all.

This situation immediately caught Pandora's attention. Seeing Ren's actions, Pandora fell silent. *Is this what he plans to do?*

*Converging himself to anchor this timeline? Not a bad idea, but it's still a bit lacking for a breakthrough. While this lays a solid foundation for him, it's far from enough to break through to Tier 10.*

*At most, it just guarantees him a better future.* She took one look at Ren's situation and decided to leave him to it. Next, she planned to continue smacking around Gaia and Alaya, because she had discovered some secrets at the Root.

*Good grief, actually hiding such good stuff and not sharing it with your sister? How can that be allowed?* Therefore, this time, Pandora planned to completely resolve the Type-Moon world. She had already thoroughly digested her previous plunder.

This time, Pandora had no intention of playing the long game with them. *Hand it over! You guys can't handle the stuff over there, so let your big sister take it for you!*

After leaving a message for Ren, Pandora withdrew and went back to pummeling Gaia and Alaya. Ren was completely oblivious to this, as he was entirely immersed in his own world.

Countless parallel world Rens were silently pulled over and fused into him. At this moment, Ren's foundation was skyrocketing, his combat power was surging madly, and he was not far from taking that final step.

It took nearly a day, but Ren finally managed to completely fuse with all his countless parallel world selves. Furthermore, he now understood exactly how he needed to proceed on his path to a breakthrough.

"Space-time..." Ren opened his eyes and slowly spat out the word. To break through to Tier 10, one had to master a law of their own. If it were just space, Ren could break through at any time, but now, his only choice was space-time!

Or rather, Ren had no choice at all. The moment he converged himself, he was locked into the path of space-time. All his parallel world selves had been converged, all pulled over from other space-times.

Because of this, Ren had no other options besides walking the path of space-time. He had already mastered space, but time... Ren truly hadn't dabbled much in it.

*Looks like I'll need to do some research in this area. Space-time is just space and time, and there are even some special elements mixed in!* Ren muttered in his heart. Although he hadn't broken through, he had profited massively this time.

Just figuring out how his future path should go made all his recent efforts incredibly worthwhile. Thinking of this, Ren stretched his back, in a remarkably good mood.

"Hm?" Just as he was about to get up and stretch his stiff joints, Ren noticed the message Pandora had left for him. She wanted him to contact her after he woke up?

Somewhat curious, Ren immediately communicated with the world and asked, "Pandora, is something the matter?"

Ren spoke while standing up and stretching. He had been sitting on this balcony for several days, and his body was incredibly stiff. Only after circulating the energy within his body for a while did he finally recover.

"Quick, come over to Alaya and Gaia's side! I've already got these two pinned down. I'm going to drain the Root dry today!!" Pandora's tone was incredibly excited, as if she had discovered some massive treasure!

Hearing this, Ren instantly went numb. Those two were truly suffering terrible luck being targeted by her. However, Ren was a bit curious—what exactly was over there that made Pandora so excited?

"Coming right now!" Ren replied casually, then headed back inside his dorm. He didn't rush over immediately; instead, he planned to wash up first.

After all, having sat on the balcony for so long, he felt a bit grimy. Even if he didn't look dirty, he felt psychologically unclean and wanted to freshen up.

After responding to Pandora, Ren went into the bathroom for a quick wash. Once he had taken care of his personal hygiene, he set off directly for the entrance to the Type-Moon world.

The moment Ren descended, he immediately noticed that the facility used to suppress magic had been completely dismantled. Only a massive empty clearing remained, as if it had been thoroughly erased by some terrifying power.

Furthermore, the entrance leading to the Type-Moon world was now completely exposed. The residual power lingering on it let Ren know that this was Pandora's handiwork. He was far too familiar with the world power radiating from it.

*Did Pandora dismantle it directly because she felt there was no longer any threat on the other side?* Curious, Ren stepped into the passage. The moment he arrived, he saw a young girl frantically absorbing the Root.

Purple hair, wearing a cheongsam, with a rather slender figure—was this Pandora's humanoid form? Not far away were two incredibly wretched figures, imprisoned in the void. They were covered in wounds, looking as if someone had whipped them with a little leather whip.

The two imprisoned figures were none other than Gaia and Alaya. Seeing their miserable state, Ren was instantly amused. It seemed Pandora hadn't held back in bullying these two!
