Jess stood out the door , listening to sound of things breaking inside the room
" So childish, breaking things and throwing a tantrum" Jess thought as she tried to gather her bearings, she wiped her face shocked to discover
" Tears ?.... I was crying?... but why? ... maybe it's an instinctive reaction after all I really did hate the man " Jess muttered as she walked to the guest room .
Sure enough Nik was mad and she also couldn't figure out why he stopped but she felt relieved that he did and merely classified it as another mystery of the manor .

The room was littered with broken debris
A lone figure sat in the middle of that heap , his expression unsightly
" Damn it !" Nik cursed
He lowered his head and ruffled his hair , his expression melting from rage to helplessness and then his lips finally curved into a crooked smile as he looked
at the little mountain that had emerged in his pants .
" You're really going to be the death of me " he muttered his mind clouded
A few days ago he had forced himself on her just fine
but now seeing her pitiful appearance with a face full of tears , he couldn't bring himself to continue
" Shit!" he cursed again and headed to the bathroom to relieve himself

Over the past few days Jess had been skillfully avoiding Nik fearing he might try to ravage her again
and much to her delight he hadn't approached her either , whatever she had done must have really annoyed him , she thought to herself while smiling
Jess had been tormenting Mu Chen these past few days too ,
preventing her from contacting her father or her other company for which she was gathering intel,
Her dumb ass father noticed nothing as usual and kept adding to Mu Chen's pay along with a list of demands on how to make Jess's life miserable.
Jess sat on her desk , skimming through the Jess torture list ,her gaze occasionally travelling to stacks of money in the bag.
