The next morning Nero woke up with a different type of headache compared to the one that he got from using to much magic
"Why the hell is it so hard to just move a couple of pebbles" he groaned as he got out of bed and went to the kitchen to make breakfast
"Morning Nero" called out a cheerful voice as he arrived in the dining hall
"Rias? didn't expect you to be up this early" Nero commented
"I'm a naturally early riser and I will admit that I am still quite excited even though it has been a day since I got here" Rias smiled "take a seat, I'm nearly done with breakfast"
"Something smells good in here" Aurathia stated as she came in from her morning training "looks like we've got another cook in the Familia, looks like the types of food that we will be eating will be increasing" she smiled
"Maybe I should cook something for everyone one of these days" added Yumi as she entered the dining hall
As Aurathia sat down next to Nero she sniffed again and commented "speaking of something smelling good, have you had a quick wash before coming in here this morning or something? you smell really nice, like roses"
"That would be thanks to my latest trainer using alot of rose based abilities" Nero sighed, Aurathia's comment reminding him of Akiza's black gardens thorns pressing against his skin, and her black rose dragon's breath attack that smelled as good as it was dangerous
"Rose based abilities huh, you'll have to tell me more after breakfast while we spar" Aurathia said as Rias brought out the food
"Sure thing, just don't expect me to use my new abilities as I'm not very good with them yet" Nero replied as he began eating
After finishing the food the group made their way out to the field, Rias wanting to see the skills of her goddess and Yumi waiting for Nero so that they could go to the dungeon together
"So, you're saying you're newest trainer is a summoner of sorts" Aurathia remarked as she threw a punch at Nero "and that you have a similar ability but can't really use it that well, and you got this guantlet as a bonus for summoning her" she commented as Nero used the guantlet to block her attack
"Pretty much" Nero breathed as he continued to guard himself, using the small amount of knowledge that Akiza had taught him about watching his opponent and not taking every opening and trying to not fall into the traps that he was starting to realize that Aurathia was setting for him
"It seems like summoning isn't the only thing that she has given you, you're fighting more with your head rather than your fists" Aurathia smiled before dashing towards Nero and tackling him to the ground and mounting him to seal his movements "but since you're not used to it it has caused your reaction speed to slow down, which is ok during our training sessions but try to limit how much you do it in actual battle" she teased, flicking Nero's forehead to signal her victory
"Hey at least I'm improving" Nero moaned due to still being unable to even land a proper hit on Aurathia to this day
"That you are" chuckled Aurathia "now flip over, it's time to see what stats you got from your new trainer"
"I would if you would get off of me" Nero complained
"That sounds like a you problem" Aurathia joked before getting off of Nero for long enough for him to flip over before sitting back down on him
A few minutes later Aurathia finished updating his status, handing him the sheet of paper with them on "seems like you didn't get as big a boost this time, this is the smallest increase in your stats I think I've ever seen you have"

"Well I guess that makes sense as Akiza isn't really a fighter herself meaning that her actual abilities aren't that impressive, and given the fact that my magic hasn't increased at all it seems like my psychic powers aren't counted as magic but as a seperate skill altogether" Nero concluded
"Well that just means that you'll have to work harder in order to master your new skill and increase your stats in the dungeon rather than in that training space of yours" Aurathia declared "this will allow you to get more used to your power, rather than having it increase in big jumps each time you go to bed"
"Hey I don't just get powerful overnight without training all night" Nero complained
"I know and that is the only reason I'm not so worried for you" Aurathia prodded him "if you did then I would not be happy as the goddess of training if you hadn't trained in order to earn those powers of yours"
"Alright so can I go now" Nero joked with a fake complaining tone, as he was not actually annoyed by Aurathia's concern for him
"Yeah you can go" Aurathia waved him off playfully "after all you don't want to stay here with a goddess who can kick your ass all day"
"Alright I get the hint we're going" Nero chuckled as he made his way over to Yumi and Rias "you two ready?"
"Ready and waiting" replied Rias, the excitement she was feeling evident in her words
"Indeed, let us be off then" Yumi added calmly "goodbye Aurathia-sama"
"I've always told you to just call me Aura" Aurathia shouted after the group as Yumi jumped nimbly down the mountain, Nero and Rias spread their devil wings to fly down to the bottom of the cliff as they made their way towards the dungeon.
