Synopsis
In a world where stories are more than just words, a girl discovers a shocking truth—her father, a quiet and mysterious author, has written a novel that is far more real than anyone could imagine. Inside that novel exists another world… a hidden reality where the male protagonist lives, fights, and struggles without knowing he is just a character on paper. But everything changes when the boundaries between the two worlds begin to break. The girl accidentally forms a connection with the boy inside the story, and soon both worlds start to overlap. As she digs deeper, she realizes her father’s novel is not just fiction—it is a sealed “secret world” created for a purpose no one was ever meant to discover.

Chapter 1 - The Author's secret world

Meera was known for one thing—her unwavering dedication. She worked long, exhausting hours at the hospital, often pushing herself beyond her limits. Patients trusted her, and her colleagues relied on her calm presence during critical moments. Yet beneath that composed exterior, there was a quiet exhaustion she rarely showed.

Still, no matter how tiring her day became, she always returned home—to a place that felt safe, familiar, and filled with stories.

Her home was not ordinary.

Her father, a well-known writer, had built his entire world around stories. Inside their house was a small office filled with scattered papers, glowing screens, and countless sketches. It was a place where imagination turned into reality.

That evening, however… something felt wrong.

Meera stepped inside and paused.

Her father sat at his desk, staring at the screen. His fingers trembled slightly, and beads of sweat rolled down his forehead. His breathing was uneven, as if something unseen was disturbing him deeply.

"Dad… are you okay?" Meera asked softly.

He didn't answer.

His eyes remained fixed on the screen—almost as if he was afraid to look away.

Before the silence could grow heavier, a voice suddenly broke the tension.

"Breaking news—Writer Sir has officially entered horror mode!"

It was Kabir—the graphic artist who worked with Meera's father. His carefree nature and constant jokes made him the complete opposite of the tense atmosphere in the room.

"Can you be serious for once?" Riya said, without even looking up from her laptop. She handled editing and helped shape the story with precision and focus.

Kabir smirked. "I am serious. This is either genius writing… or something really weird is going on."

Meera gave a faint smile, but her attention quickly returned to her father.

Something was definitely not right.

Later that night, after everyone had left, silence filled the house.

Meera stood alone in front of the screen. The web novel—her father's most famous work—was open. She had seen it countless times before.

But tonight… it felt different.

Her eyes stopped at a panel.

A rooftop scene. Dark sky. Cold atmosphere.

And a boy lying unconscious on the ground.

Meera frowned. "Was this always here…?"

Suddenly, the screen flickered.

A strange light began to glow from within the panel.

Her heartbeat quickened.

"This… doesn't look normal…"

Without thinking, she reached out and touched it.

And in an instant—

Everything changed.

A powerful force pulled her forward. The room disappeared. The ground beneath her vanished.

When she opened her eyes—

She was no longer in her room.

Cold wind brushed against her face. She stood on a rooftop—the exact same rooftop from the novel.

"This… can't be real…" she whispered.

Her gaze shifted—and she saw him.

Akira.

He lay on the ground, injured, barely breathing. His face was pale, his body weak.

Without hesitation, Meera ran toward him. Instinct took over. She knelt beside him, carefully checking his pulse and supporting him.

"Hey… can you hear me?"

His eyes slowly opened—just slightly.

For a brief moment… he saw her.

Confusion filled his gaze. But there was also something else—something soft, something unspoken.

Meera held him gently, trying to steady his breathing.

"You're going to be okay… I'm here."

For a moment, everything felt still. The world faded away, leaving just the two of them in that silent rooftop.

A strange connection formed—something neither of them could understand.

The air on the rooftop felt cold and unfamiliar.

Meera knelt beside the injured boy, her hands steady despite the chaos in her mind. She carefully supported his head, trying to help him breathe properly.

"Stay with me… you're going to be fine," she said softly.

The boy suddenly stirred.

His fingers tightened around her wrist—firm, almost defensive.

His eyes opened slightly, filled with confusion and suspicion.

"Who… are you…?" his voice was weak, yet sharp.

His grip tightened.

"Are you trying… to kill me?"

Meera froze for a second—then frowned.

"Seriously?" she muttered, slightly annoyed despite the situation. "I'm trying to save you."

For a brief moment, their eyes met.

There was tension… confusion… and something neither of them could explain.

But the boy's strength faded quickly.

His grip loosened.

His vision blurred.

As he slipped further into unconsciousness, he pulled her slightly closer—almost unintentionally. He kissed her ....

And in that fragile, fading moment—

He leaned forward.

Their distance disappeared.

A sudden, unexpected closeness.

For Meera, time seemed to stop.

Her heart skipped—her thoughts scattered. It wasn't just the shock… it was something deeper, something unfamiliar.

A strange warmth spread through her—confusing, overwhelming.

Akira.

The name echoed in her mind again.

He was exactly like the kind of person she had once written about in her diary—smart, composed, strong… and impossibly attractive.

Her father had turned that imagination into a character.

And now—

That character felt real.

Too real.

Before she could process anything further, the world shifted again.

That same force surrounded her.

And in an instant—

She was pulled back.

Back into her room.

Meera stumbled, her breath uneven. Her heart raced uncontrollably as she touched her lips, still unable to understand what had just happened.

"…What was that…?" she whispered.

Was it real?

Or just her imagination?

Slowly, she turned toward the screen.

The comic was still open.

But now—

Every single moment that had just happened…

Was written there.

Exactly the same.

Her expression turned pale.

"This… isn't possible…"

Confusion filled her mind.

Was she inside the comic?

Or was the comic somehow becoming real?

Nothing made sense anymore.

She stepped back, trying to calm herself, but the questions only grew louder.

What is this world?

Why is she a part of it?

And who… or what… is Akira really?

The answers remained hidden.

To be revealed… in the next chapter.
