The first crack crossed the doorway beneath Nari's palm, splitting the dusty outline of Rumi's departure mark without breaking the stone inside it.
She pressed harder against the known edge.
"Witness return is moving."
Rumi looked up from beyond the empty plate ledge, one heel still drawing the low mouth toward her active fold.
"Can you hold that end?"
"Yes."
Nari's shoulder struck the outside post as the arch shifted, the impact sending a sharp ache down the arm she needed steady.
Hajin caught her above the elbow before her hand slid, moving close enough for her to set her shoulder against his.
"Here?"
"Lower."
He adjusted his stance, taking the pressure where she could lean into it while her fingers followed the exposed line beneath the crack.
The route stopped creeping toward the broken joint.
Nari tested the pressure with a slight turn of her fingers, finding the point where the known line pulled against the loose stone instead of the sound floor beneath it.
