Hajin confronted the Hunting Avatar within the deserted imperial mint after Didi successfully secured the western evacuation corridor.
Veran's fully manifested form hovered beneath eight radiant ward circles, each carrying the district traces remaining after the hospital choir was severed.
Hajin ignited a single Ring upon his right wrist, allowing his Divine Eye to trace the delicate filaments anchoring the entity.
The nearest circle connected directly to two municipal healers attending patients across the canal, though their signatures were free of corruption.
"The avatar has anchored force through the municipal ward rather than their spiritual cores," he observed grimly, tracking the glowing threads.
"They remain unwilling infrastructure, and inflicting trauma upon Veran will immediately funnel physical retribution toward their cots... hold your positions until we map this."
