Cassie scrambled backward on the grass, her eyes wide as she pointed a trembling finger at Hajin's shoulder. Jonas stepped in front of her, his hands gripping his axe while he glared at the glowing blue projection.
"Get back, Cassie!" He yelled, "it might be some kind of curse left behind by that spider!"
Hajin reached up and poked the tiny girl's cheek, finding the translucent skin surprisingly solid under his finger.
"It is not a ghost," he said, flicking one of her tiny blue legs to get her to stop swinging them, "it is just the system."
Loccy tilted her head, her ears twitching as she stared at the blue projection, "oh, is it like that glowing light thing?" she asked, clapping her hands together as she recalled the incident in the capital, "the writing one that showed up when you went crazy?"
"So that is what Juna described," Vella murmured, her eyes narrowing as she inspected the tiny girl floating near them, "the strange magic that warned them when you lost control."
