Every eye on deck turned to him, sparkling with anticipation.
Lu Ranzhou took a nautical chart from his coat and said leisurely, "Less than a hundred nautical miles northeast of here are the Citron Islands. I know a great tavern over in Stodirox Port..."
Before he could even finish, the navigator let out a cheer and dashed off. The rest of the crew, instantly energized, quickly dispersed to their posts, leaving Lu Ranzhou to shout after them, "Your leave only lasts until midnight! We set sail on the dot, and I'm not waiting for anyone who's a minute late!"
And yet, at ten-fifty, Milady watched as the captain poured himself a drink while ordering another plate of roasted chicken.
