Chapter 230 - Do You Think I Could Become an Emanator of Remembrance?

Chapter 230: March 7th: Do You Think I Could Become an Emanator of Remembrance?

"That's probably impossible... the Memory Aeon Fuli, personally making a light cone for me..."

March 7th's voice gradually trailed off as she spoke.

'Don't say it, don't say it. The more I think about it, the more likely it seems.'

She recalled that final, bizarre moment. The voice of that Memokeeper had become almost identical to her own. She had desperately wanted to ask more at the time, but before she could even open her mouth, her consciousness was forcibly kicked back to reality.

Thinking back on it now... was that Memokeeper even a Memokeeper at the end? Did Fuli, the Aeon of Memory, directly hijack the connection?

'No way. Is an ancient, cosmic entity of memory really that obsessed with pink hair?'

Could it be... that she genuinely possessed the latent talent to become an Emanator of Remembrance?

"What do you guys think?" March 7th asked, a half-joking smile tugging at her lips. "Is it possible Fuli took one look at me and decided I should be an Emanator of Remembrance? Just like how Qlipoth, the Preservation, cast their gaze upon Cocolia?"

"Don't jinx it. It's actually entirely possible!" Stelle rubbed her chin, nodding with absolute solemnity.

"After all, Leon did mention that Fuli has a soft spot for pink hair... and your hair color perfectly meets the cosmic standard." Caelus leaned in, closely inspecting March 7th's vibrant pink locks before giving a firm nod of agreement.

"Actually..." Fu Xuan interjected, unable to hold back her thoughts any longer. "Why don't you simply ask Leon?"

Truth be told, the more she analyzed the situation, the more Fu Xuan felt an overwhelming suspicion that Leon was the reincarnation of Akivili. If he wasn't the Aeon of Trailblaze, who else possessed the sheer authority to casually drag multiple Aeons to the Xianzhou Luofu for a glorified 'group activity'? If he wasn't an Aeon, how could he possibly manipulate the Preservation into casting such a high-profile, universe-shaking gaze upon Belobog?

And Akivili would absolutely protect the crew of the Astral Express. After all, this was the very last Astral Express traversing the stars.

"Ask Leon? Would he even know?" March 7th blinked, genuinely startled by the suggestion.

Although Leon was undeniably powerful and shrouded in mystery, the Express crew had never truly associated him with the lofty, untouchable concept of an 'Aeon'. Aeons were distant, beyond understanding concepts perched atop their respective Paths. Leon, on the other hand, was right here. He lounged on the Express couches, spammed memes in their group chats, and constantly teased them. It was practically impossible to link his shameless, fun-loving attitude with a cosmic deity.

As for Akivili... in the minds of March 7th and the others, the Trailblaze had perished long ago. They simply hadn't considered the possibility of a resurrection., the prevailing rumor across the stars was about "Five Aeons arriving at the Luofu," and Leon was clearly excluded from that specific headcount.

Naturally, their thoughts never drifted in that direction.

Different perspectives yielded entirely different conclusions. Just like Herta and Ruan Mei, they never once entertained the notion that Leon could be Akivili. Their genius-level intellects operated on a completely different wavelength from ordinary people.

"Whether he knows or not, we should just ask him. Maybe he'll give us a surprise," Fu Xuan urged.

Seeing their blank reactions, the Master Diviner sighed inwardly. These people truly hadn't the faintest suspicion regarding Leon's true identity. Sometimes, being overly perceptive brought nothing but headaches. Remaining blissfully ignorant... perhaps that was a blessing in its own right.

Meanwhile, aboard the Herta Space Station.

Herta was practically fuming. Her porcelain joints clicked in irritation as she paced. She had fired off a message to Leon ages ago, yet her screen remained infuriatingly blank.

Herta: Hey, hey... are you there? Does Qlipoth glancing at Belobog have anything to do with you?

Herta: Is Qlipoth still playing divination stones on the Ambrosial Arbor right now?

Herta: Hey—are you there? Are you there?

Herta: Damn it, how dare he ignore my messages.

Herta: Heh heh, esteemed Lord Leon, may I humbly ask if this astronomical anomaly is related to you?

Herta: Why hasn't he replied yet... Is he not on the Astral Express either?

She had even gone so far as to remotely activate the miniature Herta puppet she secretly left stashed in Leon's room, but the sensors picked up absolutely no trace of him.

Naturally, Herta refused to give up. She immediately redirected her inquiries to Ruan Mei... only to be met with the exact same wall of silence.

'She's probably buried deep in another biological experiment,' Herta reasoned. She knew her fellow Genius Society member perfectly well. If Ruan Mei didn't reply, it meant she hadn't seen the message. If she had seen it, her response time was usually quite efficient.

"One after another... none of them ever make things easy for me." Herta crossed her arms, glaring at the motionless holographic display, muttering under her breath.

She wasn't entirely anxious, though. She knew Ruan Mei was currently swamped with developing the "Simulated Universe: The Swarm Disaster"—the highly anticipated latest expansion of their joint project, led by Ruan Mei herself. It was perfectly normal to ignore a phone while knee-deep in simulated cosmic horrors. Herta herself frequently muted her notifications, only checking her messages after concluding a massive experiment.

Once this DLC was finally complete, she fully intended to drag Stelle and Caelus over to be her guinea pigs.

Suddenly, her screen chimed.

Leon: If I said it has nothing to do with me, would you believe it?

Herta: Since you said that, of course I won't believe it.

In truth, ever since confirming the ridiculous "Aeons' Group Activity on the Luofu," Herta was absolutely certain that Leon was a being far beyond human comprehension.

Leon: Then why did you even ask?

Herta:...

Back on the Astral Express, Leon chuckled softly at his screen, shaking his head before tapping open the unread message from March 7th.

Leon: Don't worry, Fuli won't harm you... Just keep that light cone safe.

March 7th: So this light cone really was made by Fuli?!

March 7th: Oh my gosh! How much is a light cone personally crafted by an Aeon actually worth?

Reading Leon's confirmation, March 7th clicked her tongue in sheer disbelief. She truly hadn't expected this bizarre piece of crystalized memory to be the handiwork of Fuli themselves.

Leon: If you took it to an interstellar auction, the starting bid's unit of measurement would probably be Star Destroyers.

March 7th: Huh? What kind of unit is a Star Destroyer?

Leon: The unit of purchase. As in, how many fleet-wiping Star Destroyers you'd need to trade for one single light cone.

Leon typed out the reply with a wide grin.

Staring at the screen, March 7th felt her brain short-circuit. Since when did military-grade dreadnoughts become a standard currency? She couldn't help but complain internally about his ridiculous sense of scale.

But if that was the truth... didn't that mean she was casually carrying around an unimaginable fortune?

Whether it was just her imagination playing tricks on her or not, she suddenly felt a subtle, surging warmth of power radiating from the light cone in her hands.

This truly was a supreme treasure.

"What did Leon say?" Stelle leaned over, her eyes burning with curiosity.

"He said Fuli made it personally!" March 7th announced.

Across the room, Fu Xuan's face shifted into an expression of absolute vindication.

'Leon! How dare you claim you aren't Akivili!'Fu Xuan thought furiously.'If you truly weren't involved, how could you possibly know with such absolute certainty that the light cone in March 7th's hands originated from Fuli? Unless Fuli told you personally!'

Her thoughts raced like lightning, every single clue perfectly aligning in her mind.

"Hiss... Leon also mentioned that if this thing were put up for auction, the currency would be calculated in Star Destroyers," March 7th added casually.

"What?! How much did you just say?!" Stelle and Caelus snapped their heads toward her, their eyes practically morphing into giant, glowing credit symbols.

"March, why don't we just sell this light cone?" Caelus suggested, his voice dripping with absolute sincerity.

"Don't even think about it! I'm definitely hiding this securely!" March 7th shrieked, immediately shoving the light cone behind her back. "If this gets exposed, you guys will be in massive trouble too, alright!"

After all, the artwork depicted on that light cone... she truly dared not let anyone else see it. The crystalized memory clearly displayed Stelle, Caelus, and Welt Yang 'escorting' Aha.

Fortunately, it was just Aha. The Masked Fools showing up to cause trouble would likely just treat the whole thing as a hilarious joke. But if it had been any other Aeon, their fanatic followers would have probably stormed the Astral Express by now.
