Chapter 85: Making a Move
The soft sword carried Lu You away, vanishing into the distance in the blink of an eye.
Watching Lu Xiao'e stay behind alone to hold off the enemy, Lu You activated the teleportation talisman in his hand. He didn't fully activate it—his goal was only to leave the flying sword. A faint sheen appeared across the serpent's pitch-black body. Its massive head twitched slightly, though it still couldn't rise. One eyelid cracked open just a sliver, staring lifelessly at Lu You. Seeing the serpent wasn't dead, merely dormant, Lu You controlled the little cauldron again and poured a huge quantity of Qi-Nourishing Pills into its mouth.
This time, crackling sounds burst from the serpent's body. The gigantic head struggled upward, and the serpent looked at Lu You before gently flicking out its tongue, licking Lu You's palm.
