Thankfully the rest of the drive towards the Cullen mansion didn't take long at all or it could be called unfortunately considering the reason for it being so quick was Alan feeling like he was going to die during the entire drive towards the destination.
The large woodland mansion of the Cullens rolled into sight after a corner that Alice took just as harshly before she slammed on the breaks and the porsche swerved left and right for a moment, seemingly about to lose control before she took it under control once more and drifted it slightly to the side causing the car wheels to make a loud screeching noise on the drivethrough before the porsche came to a stop right before the entrance, stopping right before it would hit anything.
Alan who was seated on the passenger side of the car had his hand firmly placed onto the sides, where he had been holding on for dear life through the entire journey there, as soon as the car stopped, he took a deep breath before slamming his door open and practically jumping out of the car.
"I am, never and i mean it, ever, letting you drive me somewhere again Alice. No, no thanks." He said with a tone of utter seriousness that he tried to convey as clearly as he possibly could, he meant every single word.
'There is no way in hell, that that drive was scarier than the damned humanoid slimes ever managed to be.' Alan thought to himself as he felt a slight shiver run through his back as the memory of certain moments during the drive resourfaced in his mind once more.
Alice simply looked at him from her spot where she was still seated on the driver side of the car before she started outright laughing, to his face, without a drop of shame or embarrassment on her face.
"Awh come on, It was fun, you have to agree that it was fun right Alan? Come on, don't be such a wuss. You're not a wuss are you?" Alice asked, her voice light and teasing as she still had her arms lazily on the steering wheel as she looked up towards Alan who was standing right next to the porsche still.
"Wuss? I am not a wuss, I just have brain cells that are still working inside of my brain unlike a certain someone." Alan replied almost instantly as he shook his head.
"Are you saying that I'm a dumbass? Wow, and here I thought you were good with women." Alice replied with a giggle, her eyes seeming to sparkle.
"I am, I think, maybe, either way that doesn't matter at all and yes, I am calling you brainless, we can ask your father or mother, I'm sure they would agree in a heartbeat if they saw what you just put me through." Alan replied as he released a long winded sigh, shaking his head slowly as he turned to face the mansion.
"Pulling the parent card now? That's just cheating and you know it." Alice said as she turned and got out of the car, opening her door before stepping out of the car and walking to stand next to Alan before similarly to him turning his gaze towards the entrance of the Cullen mansion.
"I'm sure they already know something is up though, that loud screeching tire entrance didn't do you any real favours." Alan muttered almost to himself, yet he knew that she could hear him clearly.
"Right, yeah, I'll just tell them that I let you drive the car here." Alice replied as soon as Alan finished his soft mutter, her smily slowly widening until she was practically doing a toothy grin towards him.
Alan slowly clenched his fists as he released yet another sigh of pure exhaustion.
'Why do I have to deal with this bullshit right after my apartment was just broken into.' He thought to himself, feeling more tired than he had in a while before he shook his head as that thought entered his mind.
'No, I've definitely been more tired than this recently, I keep almost forgetting just exactly what I've been doing these past weeks.' Alan thought and it was at that moment as that thought was passing through his mind that the front door, up the front staircase that was before the two of them opened and out came a woman with long dark brown hair and a heartshaped face with warm amber eyes.
"Ah, Alan? You must be Alan right? Alice's friend?" The woman asked as her entire face seemed to light up at the sight of him, giving her an even softer look and feel than before as she slowly descended down the short staircase and arrived to stand before Alan for a moment before she leaned in and gave him a hug.
Leaning into it and reciprocating the endearing motion for a moment and then backing away, Alan took another closer look at the woman.
She appeared to be in her early thirties at most and was just like the rest of the Cullens that he had seen, undoubtably beautiful, unlike Alice who had a younger kind of beauty or Rosalie who was like some kind of scandinavian supermodel, this woman instead had a sort of warm beauty, like a mother of sorts.
"Ah yes, I'm Alan, Alan Walker, a friend of Alices. Recent friend, but uh yeah. And you are ma'am?" Alan asked as he gave a nod, replying to her earlier question as he looked towards her with curiosity clearly showing in his eyes.
The woman's smile widened just slightly, as her eyes seemed to sparkle in delight before she gave a nod of her head.
