Slowly walking towards the first dark alley, Alan's mind was mostly overwhelmed, even with the fact that recently he had started adjusting, that now his mind worked and thought much more clearly than it had before the system, he still could barely hold a single long though string, there was simply too many things to think about and options that seemed good but at the same time not better than the others.
At the end, he was left feeling confused, not knowing how to proceed and so, as he had always done in positions like this, he did the things that he knew he had to do and left the options for later.
'Calling or not calling Alice, staying in here for long or short, escaping Forks or saying in Forks, and all the other options, none of them matter, at the moment… I need to get strong enough to defeat that thing either way, or atleast try to, It's the only thing that I know that I have to do for sure, I have to get stronger than I currently am.' Alan thought before releasing a slow sigh as he entered into the first Alley.
For the next four hours, he continued, thankfully the silver coins could be converted into bronze coins and he could use those to buy all his daily needs.
One single green slime kill turned into two and then three and then a dozen more, he didn't stop, there was no reason to do so, if he stopped, he felt like that face would appear over his shoulder and it would all be over.
Around five hours later, he walked out of the first alley and headed into the second one, the one where groups of green slimes appeared instead of simply one at a time, by this point he had gotten quite skillful at instantly breaking the glass core with a single thrust, ofcourse, It wasn't as if he didn't take any damage, It wasn't that the slimes were strong or fast, but it was simple human error, missing the core even once, meant that you would likely get hit especially when facing groups of enemies all at once.
Meanwhile, whilst Alan Walker was inside his system dungeon, in the real world, inside his apartment, four people could be seen, one of them sitting at Alan's desk chair whilst the three others were laid flat onto the ground, their eyelids open, showing eyes that looked utterly devoid of any light and life in them, they were the eyes of corpses or atleast humans so mentally damaged that they had no thoughts left, no thinking processes going on inside their brains.
But in this case… it unfortunately was the first, the three people laid on the ground were Jeannie, John and Adrian.
Their chests were no longer rising, the colour of their bodies had already faded and they were not just cold, utterly cold and dead bodies on Alan's apartment floor.
Meanwhile, the man who had been right behind Alan before he had gone into the dungeon was sitting at Alan's desk, his chin in his palm whilst he had one leg crossed over the other, humming a slight melodic tune as he was inside his own thoughts.
"I wonder… just where he went? He was quite interesting, It's the reason that I wanted to get him to be my precious doll so badly, he wasn't affected by the drug almost at all, he could still think almost fully rationally and even head home on his feet after being drugged…. I wonder Alan Walker… just how many more things are you hiding… being able to teleport away at once, living inside this random town… Ah… I can't wait to find out." The man muttered softly to himself as an excited expression slowly emerged onto his previously languid facade of an expression.
His eyes slowly lighting up, whilst his lips curled upwards further and further, at one point it reached a point where it looked like a combination of pure orgasmic pleasure and excitement merged into one, an expression that was completely unhinged from any other regular being, morphing the handsome face of the man into something eerie and utterly terrifying.
The night that had encroached upon Forks only caused the scene to appear even more otherworldly, as if it was a scene from a horror novel rather than one from reality.
Whilst the man was waiting for Alan patiently, on the other side of Forks, another person was thinking about the very same Alan.
Deep inside the forest surrounding Forks, surrounded by the large trees of the region, inside the expensive and modern Cullen mansion, on the second floor, Alice Cullen was inside her bedroom, laid on her bed, flat on her stomach and currently playing around with her phone whilst her thoughts were somewhere far far away.
'I wonder, maybe I can take him shopping? I could buy him so many new clothes, his are already old but I could see that he takes really good care of them, ahhh…. I can't wait.' Alice thought to herself, as she couldn't help but daydream about future dates, about Alan, about them going somewhere together, especially clothes shopping as she almost released a squeal at the idea.
Alice Cullen was giddy usually, and yet for the past few days It had gotten so bad that Jasper had simply asked her to go to his room, Jasper's supernatural gift was empathy and emotional control, he could feel someones emotions and also influence them at the same time, it was a great weapon usually however when the emotion the other person was feeling was too intense, it leaked into Jasper's own emotional pool aswell, and Alice, Alice had been a volcano of emotions recently.
'Maybe I should call him?' Alice thought to herself as the mere idea excited her, she wanted to hear his voice again so badly, she just wanted to talk to him, she wanted to be close to him, she wanted…
