Hearing the Ancient One's warning, Su Mu frowned slightly, contemplating his next move.
Her words made perfect sense. He had just slaughtered the Eternals—beings specifically engineered and tasked by the Celestials. There was no doubt those unfathomably powerful cosmic gods would set their sights on him.
Although he had now officially stepped into the Skyfather tier, he was still absolutely no match for a true Celestial.
He didn't know exactly when they would arrive. If he stayed in this universe, given his absurd, exponential growth rate, he would undoubtedly possess the power to rival or even slaughter the Celestials in the future.
But that timeline was full of uncertainty. What if the Celestials arrived before his strength had scaled to that cosmic threshold? He would be powerless, left entirely at the mercy of their absolute judgment!
And Su Mu absolutely despised uncertainty.
He turned to the Ancient One and asked, "How much time do I have? When will the Celestials arrive on Earth?"
The Time Stone resting in the Eye of Agamotto upon her chest glowed with a faint, ethereal green light. After a moment, she replied, "You are safe for one month. After that, they could descend upon Earth at any given moment. I highly advise you to leave this universe and seek another dimension before that time expires."
One month...
Su Mu quickly ran the calculations. One month was more than enough time for him to grind his Mystic Portal to Level 4. In fact, it was plenty of time.
Once his Mystic Portal reached Lv.4, he would possess the absolute ability to traverse across entirely different dimensions and universes. With that escape route secured, he wouldn't have to fear the Celestials. He could advance or retreat on his own terms without ever being backed into a corner.
Suddenly, an exciting thought crossed Su Mu's mind. In the comic lore, there existed a unique intersection—an Amalgam universe of sorts—that bridged the Marvel and DC multiverses!
If such a nexus universe truly existed here, could he use it to travel to the DC Multiverse?!
The DC Multiverse was packed with supreme cosmic artifacts brimming with boundless energy, such as the Mother Boxes. If he could get his hands on those, he would never have to worry about energy constraints again!
Furthermore, Su Mu had a strong premonition. If he ever unlocked a terrifying character template that exceeded the limits of a single universe—reaching true Multiversal tier—the energy output from the Infinity Stones might experience diminishing returns. He would eventually need to seek out higher-dimensional energy sources!
Therefore, dimensional travel and traversing the wider Multiverse were absolutely critical to his future!
Countless thoughts rapidly flashed through his mind, forming a rough outline for his grand cosmic roadmap. But those were plans for the future. Right now, his absolute priority was leveling up the Mystic Portal!
Once he hit Lv.4, he wouldn't just have a fail-safe against the Celestials. He could casually open a portal directly to William Stryker's exact coordinates and permanently crush that disgusting, hiding insect under his heel!
Most importantly, Su Mu didn't want to just run away quietly. Even if he couldn't defeat the Celestials in a head-on fight right now, he absolutely intended to leave them a devastating "parting gift" before he hopped universes!
And a dimension-hopping portal was the perfect, ultimate backup plan to pull that off.
After sincerely thanking the Ancient One and bidding her farewell, Su Mu teleported back to his Malibu cliffside mansion.
Even though his battle with the Eternals had taken place a full 500 kilometers away, the mega-mansion hadn't entirely escaped the collateral damage. A minor tidal surge had splashed into the lower levels, leaving the property quite damp. However, under the diligent, frantic cleaning efforts of the Hollywood actresses, the mansion was rapidly returning to its pristine state.
Su Mu comfortably settled in and immediately began grinding his portal proficiency.
Sparks of golden magical energy continuously flared and vanished all around him as he opened and closed dozens of portals a second. The System chimes rang endlessly in his head:
[System Notification: Mystic Portal EXP +1]
[System Notification: Mystic Portal EXP +1]
[System Notification: Mystic Portal EXP +1]
...
Because Level 3 allowed him to manifest portals with a mere thought, entirely bypassing the need for physical gestures, he could effortlessly multitask. For someone whose brain operated like a quantum supercomputer, this was as easy as breathing!
With a thought, a stable portal stabilized in front of him, revealing the busy interior of Tony Stark's high-tech laboratory.
With his peerless intellect, Tony had already finished repairing the Helicarrier Ark for SU-IELD. Afterward, he had immediately returned to his own Malibu mansion with the "gift" Su Mu had given him—the mind-wiped symbiote—to reverse-engineer its properties and crack the code for bleeding-edge nanotechnology.
Sitting on a display shelf behind Tony was a container holding a shifting, flowing liquid armor. It looked remarkably similar to the symbiote, yet fundamentally distinct. It seemed Stark's research was already making terrifying progress!
"Hey, Tony..."
Startled by the voice suddenly echoing right behind him, Tony violently jumped, dropping a calibrated diagnostic tool onto his desk. He spun around, saw the glowing portal and Su Mu's face, and let out a massive sigh of relief. He glared at him resentfully.
"Damn it, Su Mu! You nearly gave me a heart attack!"
Su Mu casually shrugged, offering a thoroughly insincere apology. "My bad. I'll knock next time. Anyway, I brought you some fresh, premium materials. I figured you'd love them."
Tony's irritation evaporated instantly. Whenever Su Mu brought him "materials," it was always something impossibly rare that resulted in massive technological leaps. Compared to getting his hands on alien tech, a little jump scare was completely irrelevant.
"What is it? Show me!" Tony demanded eagerly.
Using localized gravity, Su Mu levitated the corpses of the Eternals out of his pocket dimension and floated them through the portal, depositing them onto Tony's lab floor.
"These are the physical vessels of the Eternals, engineered by the Celestials themselves," Su Mu explained casually. "Their cellular structure is incredibly unique—it's a perfect synthesis of biological life and cosmic machinery.
"The material that makes up their bodies possesses absolute, near-indestructible durability and functions as a flawless superconductor for cosmic energy. I imagine reverse-engineering these corpses will be a massive breakthrough for your suits."
"Whoa... cool!" Tony's eyes practically sparkled as he scanned the alien bodies. With materials like this, the theoretical ceiling for his Iron Man armors would skyrocket!
Suddenly, Tony froze. His genius brain caught up to the absolute reality of what was lying on his floor. He slowly looked up at Su Mu, his eyes wide with horror.
"Wait... Did you just slaughter every single Eternal on Earth?!"
Tony stared at Su Mu in profound, reality-shattering disbelief.
The Eternals were legendary cosmic guardians engineered by actual space gods. Every single one of them was a terrifying warrior powered by infinite cosmic energy, capable of surviving in a total vacuum and easily toppling entire nations.
And Su Mu had casually exterminated all of them and dropped their bodies off for scrap parts! Tony knew Su Mu was an absolute monster, but this was crossing into a realm of pure absurdity!
After casually trading the corpses of cosmic demigods in exchange for Tony's promise of an unlimited, lifetime supply of custom Iron Man suits, Su Mu closed the portal and resumed his training.
Time passed rapidly. Days and nights cycled outside his window.
While leisurely sunbathing on his patio, Su Mu finally heard the distinct, heavenly chime he had been waiting for:
[System Notification: Mystic Portal EXP +1]
[System Notification: Congratulations, Skill 'Mystic Portal' has leveled up!]
A massive, profound wave of esoteric spatial knowledge violently flooded his mind. Su Mu's conceptual understanding of quantum space, dimensional boundaries, and cosmic energy deepened exponentially!
Moments later, having perfectly assimilated the data, he had officially mastered the Level 4 Mystic Portal!
[Mystic Portal Lv.4 (1/5000): Consumes magical/cursed energy to instantly open a portal to ANY coordinate across ANY dimension or parallel universe!]
Reading the absolute, reality-breaking description of his new skill, a brilliant, sadistic smile stretched across Su Mu's face.
Stryker... just you wait.
