Chapter 59 - SU-IELD

[Template Synchronization: 79%]

He was just one percentage point away from hitting the 80% threshold and unlocking a brand-new, ultimate ability. However, even with his Energy Absorption at Level 4, his physical vessel was still incapable of continuously devouring the infinite, hyper-dense cosmic output of the Mind Stone for extended periods. After just a few minutes of absorption, Su Mu's body felt an intense, overwhelming wave of fatigue.

To prevent burning out his cursed energy pathways, Su Mu placed the Mind Stone into his invisible pocket dimension. He would wait until his body fully recovered before initiating the next absorption cycle.

Reaching Level 4 had elevated his absorption capabilities to a level slightly surpassing Sebastian Shaw, so it was entirely within his expectations that he couldn't perfectly process an Infinity Stone just yet. However, once the skill hit Level 5, he was absolutely certain he would be able to effortlessly sustain the output of an Infinity Stone—perhaps even multiple Stones simultaneously!

He checked the current progress of his skill:

[Energy Absorption Lv.4 (2987/5000)]

Since it was a passive ability that he utilized every single second of the day, the experience bar was filling up at an astonishing rate. It wouldn't be long before it broke through to Level 5. Once that happened, the speed at which his Template Synchronization climbed would skyrocket!

Judging by the steady, massive influx of energy he was continuously draining from Ikaris' cosmic core, he calculated he would undoubtedly hit the 80% milestone by tomorrow.

With the Mind Stone safely tucked away, Su Mu turned his gaze toward Captain America, Black Widow, and Loki. Remembering the terrifying, mind-altering capabilities of the gem he had just acquired, a deeply diabolical, highly entertaining idea suddenly sparked in his mind!

Think about it...

* The God of Mischief, completely subjugated?

* Captain America, brainwashed and bonded to a HYDRA-esque symbiote?

* The Hulk, forced into a violent symbiosis?

* Thor, descending from Asgard with his powers fully awakened?

* Black Widow, brawling with the Hulk using an alien parasite?

* And to top it all off... Tony Stark dropping in as the Sorcerer Supreme?!

Su Mu was vibrating with excitement. He absolutely could not wait to see the apocalyptic Battle of New York unfold tomorrow!

I wonder what the Chitauri armada will think when they drop out of that wormhole and come face-to-face with this absolute nightmare of an Avengers roster?

To think was to act. Looking at the white-haired demon's suddenly radiant, sinister smile, Captain America and the others felt a profound sense of impending doom.

But before they could even attempt to resist, the absolute, cosmic authority of the Mind Stone washed over them. The yellow light violently bypassed their mental defenses, completely rewriting their loyalties and twisting their consciousness to his absolute will!

"Commander!"

In perfect, chilling unison, Captain America, Black Widow, and Loki bowed deeply to Su Mu, their eyes filled with absolute, fanatic devotion.

Looking at his newly acquired elite strike team, the corners of Su Mu's mouth curled into a brilliant, wicked smile.

"Return to the Helicarrier," Su Mu ordered smoothly. "We're going to deliver a very special gift to Nick Fury!"

"Yes, Sir!"

Because of Su Mu's previous interventions, the relationship between SHIELD and Tony Stark had completely fractured, which was why Tony wasn't present to get caught up in this mess.

The group quickly boarded an abandoned SHIELD Quinjet and set a course for the Helicarrier.

A Tailor-Made Suit

During the flight, Su Mu took the opportunity to study the alien symbiotes bonded to his new subordinates. Loki was bonded with Riot, Captain America with the white Serum (Anti-Venom), and Black Widow with Scream.

For some inexplicable, cosmically amusing reason, these specific symbiote seeds had rained down from the sky and crashed right outside the Stuttgart gala.

Using localized gravity, Su Mu forcefully extracted a small sample of biomass from each of the three symbiotes. He then channeled the Mind Stone, absolutely and permanently erasing the rudimentary consciousness and willpower from the alien goo.

Fusing the three mindless, highly adaptive biological masses together, an entirely new, composite symbiote was born!

Because it lacked a consciousness, it wasn't a true "symbiote" anymore; it was merely a piece of hyper-advanced, biological equipment. An outfit that could shape-shift perfectly at his command!

Su Mu allowed the composite biomass to spread across his body. It seamlessly devoured his ruined clothes and instantly replicated a flawless, pristine new outfit. He flexed his hands, sensing the minuscule, almost negligible boost in physical strength the suit provided. He chuckled. Well, it's virtually useless for combat, but it definitely saves me a trip to the tailor.

The Birth of SU-IELD

The Quinjet quickly approached the massive SHIELD Helicarrier. Upon landing in the hangar bay, the ramp lowered, and Captain America stepped out.

Director Nick Fury was already waiting for him on the tarmac, surrounded by heavily armed agents.

Fury offered a rare, genuine smile. "Welcome back, Captain. A successful mission, I presume? Where is Loki?"

Steve Rogers stood perfectly straight, looking Nick Fury dead in his single eye, and spoke with absolute, unwavering seriousness.

"He's on the jet. But, Nicky-boy, I brought a present just for you!"

Hearing this entirely disrespectful, out-of-character slang, Nick Fury's pupil shrank to a pinprick. Every single alarm bell in his head violently went off. He knew for an absolute fact that the honorable, 1940s-raised Captain America would never address his commanding officer like that!

There was only one explanation: Captain America had been compromised, just like Agent Barton!

Without hesitating for a microsecond, Fury's hand dove into his trench coat, violently pressing the button on the modified 90s pager to summon Captain Marvel.

At that exact moment, a slender figure with stark white hair strolled lazily down the Quinjet ramp.

Su Mu looked at the incredibly tense Nick Fury. He glanced at the glowing pager hidden in the Director's coat. He could have effortlessly severed the signal or severed Fury's hand with a spatial slash, but he didn't even bother. The smile on his face only grew more entertained.

"Calling Captain Marvel, are we?" Su Mu asked lazily.

Seeing the sheer, unadulterated shock on Fury's face, Su Mu chuckled.

"I hate to break it to you, but she can't save you from me. Isn't that right, my loyal subordinate, Director Fury?"

Hearing those chilling words, Fury instantly realized the catastrophic severity of the situation.

"Open fire!" Fury roared at the surrounding strike team. "Kill the White Demon!"

But to his absolute horror, not a single agent fired at the white-haired boy. Instead, the unmistakable, synchronized click of dozens of assault rifles echoed through the hangar... as every single SHIELD agent aimed their weapons directly at Nick Fury's head!

Fury's heart sank into an icy abyss. He looked past the guns, staring at the incredibly handsome, warm, and approachable smile on Su Mu's face—a smile that looked more heroic than Captain America's.

"You're controlling them..." Fury gritted his teeth. "You possess telepathy!"

"No... wait. You took the Scepter. You have the Mind Stone, and you can wield its power infinitely better than Loki ever could!"

As the world's greatest spymaster, Fury instantly deduced the absolute nightmare scenario unfolding before him. But knowing the truth only made the despair infinitely heavier!

Seeing Su Mu simply smile without denying it, Fury's expression turned incredibly dark. He glared at the demon like a cornered wolf.

"You think you've won?" Fury spat viciously. "You've crossed too many lines! You've offended too many cosmic powers! In the near future, you are going to die a miserable, agonizing death!"

Completely ignoring the desperate, rabid barking of a defeated man, Su Mu spoke in a deeply soothing, friendly tone.

"Don't worry about that, my loyal subordinate. None of that is going to happen. Besides... you're going to help me prevent it, aren't you?"

The moment the words left his lips, a brilliant flash of cosmic yellow light washed over the hangar.

Under the absolute authority of the Mind Stone, the furious, bloodshot glare in Nick Fury's eye instantly smoothed out into a glassy, fanatic calm. He looked at Su Mu as if he were gazing upon a divine creator. He bowed deeply, his voice completely devoid of resistance.

"Yes, Commander. I shall dedicate my entire life and all of my resources to your service!"

Having successfully subjugated the Director of SHIELD and his elite strike team, Su Mu nodded in profound satisfaction.

If SHIELD could be secretly infiltrated and turned into HYDRA... why couldn't it be turned into SU-IELD?

As of this moment, SU-IELD was officially established!

A New Suit for the Doctor

Led by their new fanatic loyalist, Nick Fury, the group casually strolled through the corridors of the Helicarrier, effortlessly using the Mind Stone to subjugate every single agent they crossed paths with.

Finally, they arrived at the main science laboratory.

Inside, Dr. Bruce Banner was frantically typing at a console, tracking the gamma signature of the Tesseract.

Hearing the doors open, Bruce spoke without turning around.

"Director, I'm going to need a little more time to pinpoint the Tesseract's exact coordinates..."

Bruce abruptly froze. The words died in his throat.

He had turned around to face the Director, only to see the absolute, terrifying nightmare that had been plaguing his sleep for weeks standing right behind Nick Fury.

The White Demon was smiling at him.

It was a gentle, sunny smile, but it sent an apocalyptic chill straight down Bruce's spine!

The White Demon stepped forward, speaking in a highly polite, friendly tone.

"Dr. Banner. I apologize for the intrusion, but I'm going to need you to try on some new clothes for me."

Behind Su Mu, the dark, viscous masses of the symbiotes began to violently writhe and emerge from the armor of Cap, Widow, and Loki. They hissed and flared, radiating an aura of absolute, primordial violence!

Bruce's eyes widened in sheer, paralyzing terror. He desperately tried to force his heart rate up.

"Hulk! Hulk, please! You have to come out right now!"

Deep within Bruce's subconscious, the Incredible Hulk was curled into a tight ball in the corner of his mind... violently shivering in absolute fear!
