However, even with Level 4 Energy Absorption, his current Arc Reactors weren't entirely obsolete yet. He calculated that with his new absorption rate and expanded capacity, he would need roughly five Arc Reactors running simultaneously to completely satisfy his passive daily energy draw.
It seems acquiring the Infinity Stones needs to be moved up the schedule!

Even Thor, the God of Thunder, was visibly shaken by the sheer destructive scale of humanity's ultimate weapon.
"Why was Su Mu suddenly targeted by such a devastating weapon?!" Thor demanded, his voice booming over the thunder.
Jane Foster, trembling as she watched the mushroom cloud, answered him.
"His public identity is the White Demon... he's currently the most wanted man on the planet. I heard rumors that the military had drafted extreme contingency plans to eliminate him. That nuclear strike... it had to be the government!
"Taking a direct hit from a nuclear bomb... not even Su Mu could possibly survive that..."
Thor stepped forward, gripping Mjolnir tightly. "I am going to save him! And if he has fallen, I will retrieve his body!"
But just as Thor took a step forward, he abruptly froze. His eyes widened as he stared at the apocalyptic inferno in the distance.
"By the Norns..." Thor whispered softly. "It seems he does not need saving after all."

Meanwhile, inside the highly classified subterranean military command center, the top generals of the U.S. military watched the live satellite feed of the nuclear detonation.
Seeing the White Demon completely engulfed by the epicenter of the blast, the command center erupted into ecstatic cheers and applause.
"Direct hit! Standing at ground zero of a tactical nuke... absolutely nothing could survive that!"
"The greatest threat to global security has finally been eradicated! The White Demon is history!"
"Contact the press immediately! We need to broadcast this to the world! Let everyone know the military has successfully eliminated the White Demon!"
While the other generals celebrated their historic victory, Colonel William Stryker remained absolutely silent, his single eye staring obsessively at the monitor displaying the mushroom cloud.

The cheering in the command center abruptly died. The generals' triumphant smiles froze on their faces as they stared at the monitor in absolute, paralyzing disbelief.
"What... what is happening?!"
"The thermal energy and radiation from the blast... it's all being rapidly absorbed into the epicenter!"
"But the mutant inhibitors were active! Why are his powers still working?!"
"My God... is he even human?!"
In less than a minute, the apocalyptic energy of the nuclear explosion was completely devoured.
At ground zero, aside from a massive cloud of swirling dust and smoke, there was absolutely nothing left. Even the desert sand, which had been instantly fused into a massive sea of molten glass by the millions of degrees of heat, was rapidly cooling and solidifying, completely drained of its thermal energy!
Then, a slender silhouette slowly emerged from the thick smoke.
The White Demon casually strolled out of the epicenter of the nuclear blast, his stark white hair and pristine clothes completely untouched by the inferno. He stopped in the center of the molten crater, looked up directly at the military spy satellite orbiting in space...
And slowly, deliberately, raised his middle finger.
