"I-It seems as though Z-Zeldris is unable to continue…" Dead silence fell on the arena, the crowd stood still at the sound of the announcement. "…the winner… LIGHT WUTHERHORN!"
They exploded now, echoes of praise erupted from all ends of the arena, forcing a wide smile on Light's face as he bowed shamelessly before them, he quickly moved towards the tunnels once more.
"Is that really Light Wutherhorn?"
"There's no way he's this strong!"
"I knew him as a child, he was always so weak, but what I've seen here today? Pheew!"
Light could hear the voices from multiple corners of the arena but he ignored them, they had all witnessed his power for themselves, there was no way they could deny him now.
He caught the gaze of the beautiful Anissa, who was equally cheering for him, she blew him a kiss and his cheek turned beet red as he walked back into the tunnels.
