"The fuck do you want, kid?" he says in the manliest voice known to mankind. Arthur's stance faltered for a sec before he straightened up again. Ethan looked at Braxton with worry in his eyes. Not having a single clue where this could go; or where Arthur could end up.
"Y-you were just getting awfully close to us! I just wanted to know what's up!" Arthur's hidden stutter was starting to show.
The big guy sighs deeply. "Listen, kid. Just let me get my shit and leave me the hell alone…" he turns around and goes back to searching for whatever he was trying to find. Arthur wanted to keep the conversation going, but Ethan came over and dragged him back. Saying: "Sorry about that mister…" like fake laughing to dial down what was going on. Braxton was just shaking his head.
"The fuck was that all about?!" Braxton whispered in his ear.
"That guy just seemed suspicious as all hell!" Arthur shot back. "If no one else is gonna look out for FUCKING danger, than I will…" he gave them both a death glare. Then he stomped his way, quickly over to the exact opposite side of the store. Making Braxton and Ethan have to catch up.
He made it to the salty snacks area, and repeatedly stomped his foot until the two of them made it over. The girl from up front looked over at him, and wondered what he was doing; until she had to do her job.
"Hey there sir! Is that all?" she asked with the average worker's persona.
"Yep, that'll be it…" he said before coughing a bunch into his arm. She was starting to get worried after he wouldn't stop for over 10 seconds. Luckily for her though, he was alright after a minute.
He hands her his card after she scans all his items. They were: an energy drink, some cigarettes, a tubular chip can, a sponge, and some latex gloves. She gives the guy a knowing look on her face. He was only looking down at what she presumed was his phone, so he couldn't know what she could be thinking about right now.
"o-oh, sir?" He looks up after hearing that. "It seems your card has declined…" She says with a sorry look.
"Try it again." he said with irritation in his voice. Which shocked her a little bit. I mean, that took a complete 180. Even Ethan, Arthur, and Braxton heard his emotional switch-up. All the way from the chip aisle.
She scans his card once more; and lo and behold, it didn't work for the second time.
"It declined again…" she says, wondering how he's going to react this time. He looks at her, with his face morphing into a huge frown. She thought that shit was really creepy.
"Oh came the fuck on! It can't be this hard for your dumbass to scan my stuff! Isn't this your job or are you just picking your ass behind the counter!" Arthur almost laughed at that last thing he said, but Ethan covered his mouth. The worker was really shaken by what this man said to her.
"O-ok sir… just calm down—" He slams his hands into the counter, and looms over her. His tall stature makes her almost shit her pants in fear. The rest of them also see exactly what's going on.
"I know DAMN well! That MY card isn't out of MONEY!!" he yells so loud that it almost ruptures her poor eardrums.
"S-SIR! I SAID C-CALM DOWN!" She stood on business, and didn't let him get to her. Or that's what she hoped she looked like at the moment. Ethan and the two others saw right through her façade with those two stutters, just like with Arthur. The guy looked like deep down, he wanted to hit her, or at least someone else. His hands were gripping the table, making it look like he was about to rip it straight off like the Hulk.
Arthur's face turned red, as rage crept over his whole entire body. Now he knew that his redirect was in fact, right.
The guy, who was now almost foaming out the mouth. Grabbed her by the collar of her shirt, and pulled her closer towards him. She couldn't really do anything about what was happening, she just hoped those kids would be okay.
Arthur grabbed something from the shelf that Ethan, nor Braxton could identify. Braxton tried to stop him from doing something stupid; but deep down, he couldn't let this go on any longer.
"I SWEAR to god… if my card declines AGAIN! I'm bouta do something I might regret…" she did not want to know what he could've meant by that.
She shakily swipes the card a third time, while still being held up by this guy. To her absolute horror though, it seemed this guy was just broke at the moment. He already knew what happened when she started to sweat a whole lot more. He fully picks her up, and carries her over the counter, before slamming her into the store tiles. She grunted and winced from the impact, having her eyes slowly open back up to see that crazed look etched all over this guy's face.
"Oh how much I hate it, when little children like you, don't listen to my demands…" his true colours were shining brightly at this point. "First with that tiny punk, and now with your incompetence… once I'm done with you… I'm gonna have a grand old time with that brat and his friends…" Her eyes started to tear up once she heard his intentions. If only there was something she could do to stop him.
Then, she got an idea.
*Thwack!
Her leg went straight towards his nut sack, really digging in there for added effect. He screamed in pain, whilst clutching his testicles for dear life. Almost looking like he was afraid of them falling off because of that hit.
Ethan and Braxton both heard that kick from all the way across the store. They were both astonished by her leg strength, to the point of speechlessness.
Arthur then came in to add fuel to the already huge fire. By bashing a loose piece of a shelf over his head, in which he spotted dangling on one of the aisles. His head dropped to the floor, and he was absolutely pissed. Arthur stood next to the now standing worker, and gave her a thumbs up. She was just wondering how he found that piece of shelf.
"Alright you piece of shit!" Arthur announced. "Me and this random lady are gonna beat the living hell out of you! So my best suggestion is to accept your defeat and let us do it…"
