The next day, Jihan left his office before the sun had fully set. He drove down to Jae-min's school, having been told by Jae-min that he had a game that day.
He arrived just as the game was ending and decided to wait for Jae-min to freshen up. After standing by his car for a short while, Jihan walked toward the school gym to wait for him there.
Jihan was waiting outside the gym when Jae-min emerged, hair still damp from a rushed shower, gym bag slung over one shoulder.
"You didn't have to come all the way out here."
"I wanted to." Jihan pushed off the car door he'd been leaning against, something easy and warm in his smile. "How'd the game go?"
"We won. Barely." Jae-min climbed into the passenger seat, dropping his bag at his feet. "I'll tell you the whole thing over food. I'm starving."
