I woke up the next morning as I was met with a view, Nathan standing by the mirror combing his hair, his abs on display, water dropping from his hair and the sun hitting perfectly against his skin, his gaze lazily drifted to me as we held contact for about 5 seconds before I immediately looked away. I got up managing to walk carefully as I greeted softly
"Good morning"
He nodded and continued what he was doing as I walked into the bathroom, as I walked into the shower room my gaze dropping on his phone placed on the sink as a message popped in
"See you at 8:00 babe"
My heart sank as I could feel tears cloud my eyes but I just wipped it awa, I was angry with my self because after all the things he did to me I still cared and loved him very much.
I walked out of the bathroom after I was done bathing as I wore a sundress and walked into the bedroom only to find him scattering everywhere, he looked at me as I handed him he's phone
"You left it inside" I murmured, he looked at it gently taking it from me as I added "you got a text, looks like you'll be late tonight "
His gaze drifted to his phone checking the message as his gaze shifted back to me as I turned away and pressed the remote a maid walked inside as she directed my wheelchair out of the room, we got downstairs as she took me to the kitchen, I was greeted by soo many maids I murmured softly "what are we making today" I said as I walked up to the huge gas cooker ready to start making pancakes when suddenly one of the maid walked up to me
"mamm don't worry there's no need we'll take care of it"
I rolled my eyes as I smiled
"thank you very much but I'm part of this home now so I will be the one in charge of cooking around here while you guys can just assist me, so I do have the right to cook here okay"
" Yes mammm"
"Good so I'll be preparing pancakes this morning so can I pls have the ingredients here"
I started cooking after I was almost done the door bell started ringing profusely, one of the maids went to get the door I turned to the other maid
"Who is that and why do they keep ringing the bell like that"
The maid answered "mamm it's the boss friends that ring the bell like that"
I simply continued after a while I could hear laughter and deep voices and the kitchen door suddenly burst open
"What's that amazing smell" One of them spoke their gaze landing on me, one of the guys walked up to me "hey" He murmured "you must be Nathan's wife right" I immediately felt awkward as I nodded
"Oh um nice to meet you then, my name's david, this is kingdavid,mark and luck they all waved and smiled at me
" Hi" I murmured still feeling awkward and then David smiled as he said softly "you're making breakfast it smell delicious"
"I um.... Yes" I replied mark and Luke jumped for joy as they took a seat at the dining table the maids serving them, they looked around and asked"where's Nathan "
I gently looked down as I said softly "in his room"
They all looked at me as mark spoke "I hope he's not mistreating you" I gently looked away "he's not" Before any of them could continue with their questions "let's eat" I said immediately as they started eating, after some time Nathan walked into the dining room his gaze fixed on me
