Thirty minutes later, a sliver of normalcy had returned.
The room had been arranged, well as much as could be salvaged. Ray, Kai and Leon were still unconscious, but now they were all laid on the bed while Anna took a chair beside them. Behind her was Azul, and standing by her right was Bella with a plate of strawberries.
Anna's spirits didn't even brighten when she saw the strawberries. Instead, she let out a heavy sigh, her shoulders slumping forward. Once upon a time she would have eagerly munched on the red fruits but now, she feared she'd throw up if she tried to eat it.
"Shall I take Leon outside?" Azul asked.
Anna didn't reply immediately. She knew what he was asking.
"If you do, what'll happen?" She asked.
