Carson opened his eyes fluttering and rubbing his eyes as then woke up from the floor he folded the cloth on which he was sleeping and put the pillow beside it the old man was still sleeping it's been a month since Carson came here and he looks ok now he went out and washed up by the time he came the old man was awake then said "ehye boi you look healthy bow from today onwards you will work like me" the old man started he taught him how to plow, how to sow seeds, how to put up fence, how to chop woods , how to create fire from rock and from woods, how to water the plants and from his extensive knowledge about language and stories at night it was almost like having mom Or dad around just with very much work.
The old man had taught Carson many things it's been 2 months since Carson came here and had learned very much there are 7 continents in this world called Viera.
First continent-Huran (human kingdom)
Second continent-Darvi (dwarf kingdom)
Third continent-Brostvale (beast folk kingdom)
Fouth continent-Elvaire(Elf kingdom)
Fifth kingdom-Lazara (Lizard kingdom)
Sixth Kingdom-Walton (Werewolf kingdom)
Seventh Kingdom-Varfam(Vampire kingdom)
All these continents rely on each other for survival but out of these the Brostvale continent and Walton continent have secluded they don't allow any other species in but in other places all races live in harmony except for the fact that now in Huramn and Varfam Beastfolks are slaved.
Like this Carson learnt many things from the old man and serving him a year passed Carson in deep knew he got lucky he had heard stories of how slavery works but here it was like he was spending time with his grandpa.
Time passed and the 6 year old boy was now 10 his built was good the old guy was starting to look more sick but he didn't show it much in front of you as you care form him he then said one day "Carson I want to tell you something but you must keep it a secret" Carsons ear perked up during the last 4 years Carson have relaised that most of the old mans rambling is quite helpful and so his attitude for humans still bad except for this guy in front him or the peoepl he trusts he acts funny then the old guy Alferd said "the current Prince Arion tell me who he resebels the most " Carson confused said "well people say he resembles to queen " Then the old man laughed and said " don't tell anyone only the queen and I know this that kid is mine " He were shocked and asked "Grandpa doesn't thst mean your son is gonna become a king later on and also how many more seeds have you spread around huh " The old man laughs then said " Listen listen I am growing old I -I wanna teach you something like I have told you aboout magic before today I will unlock your magic today and from now on till I am alive I will teach you sword so from now on remember to call me master not grandpa" Carson was shocked a thought came to his mind as his dark eyes point to ground and some thoughts came in revenge kill his eyes turn red for a brief moment you don't know it yet the old man to don't know this he dismissed the thought and your eyes turn back normal he looks at him then said "grandpa I will learn from you so please teach me Grandpa" The old guy said " Call me master" Carson said "ok grandpa" He shrugged irritated and remarked sneakily before going to fields "this brat" Then left.
The very next day a cold splash of water hit Carsons face he suddenly woke up "it's time boi" The old man the takes Carson to the field rice grains there he then makes Carson sit and meditate after 20 minutes of meditation he puts his hand on Carsons back and releases mana towards carson's body surprisingly he expected Carson to shout in pain but instead the mana bounced back he then though for a minute and realsied beastpeople are sensitive to mana they have to start small so he pushes a small thread of mana towards Carson he feels it tries to grab it but nothing this continues for very many days Carson would wake up in the morning do this exercise then work on fiel get wood then the old man would teach him sword in evening for about an hour or so by the 6 th month Carson was doing the morning mana exercise his mana senses have opened now and are very sharp then again he is a beastfolk a powerful tribes beastfolk at that a tiger one then the old man preses his back and puts his hand on Carson and release mass mana this time Carson screams in pain very much mana was passing through his beings his muscles he screamed in pain it continues for 2 hours then a black liquid coems ou today his body the old man said "sheesh kid you smell so baddd you stink go take a bath " He said laughing Carson runs towards the river and dives in taking a long bath then comes back he saw the old man was packing up Carson asked "what happened old man where you going" The old man said "not just me you too boi we are going to mountains before tha" He paused took out your beast contract and suddenly fire from him hands came out and the contract was burned to ashes Carson felt the heavy mark on his chest dissapear the weight lightenes Carson's eyes teary he hugged the old man the old man hugged him back then they old man and he abandoned the house and went to the forest many strong beasts came but the old guy used fabulous magic and defeated them all Carson said "wow so you weren't lying for being one of the great magicians old man" The old mans chest filled with pround said " Of course I am a 6 stars mage why would I lie" They go towards the middle of nowhere near a lake by evening they settle there.
