Song Dohyun looks at him for a long moment before he says anything.
It's the look Yeon Yujun remembers — the cataloguing one, the assessment running behind the composed expression. He used to find it unsettling at seventeen because he didn't know what Song Dohyun was looking for. He knows now. He's always been looking for the same thing.
Whether Yeon Yujun is a problem or a resource.
"The door," Song Dohyun says. "You know what it is."
"I know what you were trying to do with it," Yeon Yujun says.
"Then you understand why."
"I understand why you thought it was worth doing," Yeon Yujun says. "That's not the same thing."
Song Dohyun looks at Seo Hwigeon, at Chae Yuna, at Han Ruby — taking in the room with that systematic efficiency, assigning them categories. His eyes linger on Seo Hwigeon for a half-second longer than the others.
Then he looks back at Yeon Yujun.
"You should sit down," he says. "This will take a while."
"I'm fine standing," Yeon Yujun says.
