The Itaewon anchor point is under a restaurant.
Specifically, it's under a twenty-three-year-old Korean barbecue place that has survived every economic shift and urban renovation in the neighbourhood because the owner refuses to leave and the building is on a heritage registry, which means nobody has touched the foundation since before vortexes existed.
"The anchor points were established before anyone knew what they were," Seo Hwigeon says, spreading Ki Yeonbom's infrastructure map across the café counter. "The early vortexes formed above existing mana concentrations in the bedrock. Natural accumulation sites." He points at a circled area on the map.
