That result filled many of the spectators with anticipation. After all, a match only became exciting when both sides fought fiercely.
If it was nothing more than one team crushing the other, then for them, there would not be much meaning in watching it.
Only a situation where both teams clashed head-on could truly be called thrilling.
"Screech—"
A sharp sound rang out as rubber soles scraped against the floor.
Hank accelerated from beside Oikawa, took his approach, and jumped. Just as he was about to rise above the net, his wrist suddenly began to twist.
In the eyes of an ordinary person, the degree of that twist was absolutely abnormal.
It was as if he were about to snap his own wrist.
But for Hank, that was not the case at all.
His already-twisted wrist looked no different from a normal person's, and even the force behind his spike did not weaken in the slightest.
The ball passed straight through Atsumu and Osamu's block and flew directly toward the back of the court.

The moment Atsumu saw Hank jump above the net, he suddenly felt as though a violent gust of wind had blown toward him.
But before he had any time to hesitate, the volleyball actually slipped through the block formed by the two of them.
And this was not simply a matter of forcing the ball through the block.
The trajectory of the spike had completely changed in midair.
They had not predicted it at all.
They could not understand how that kind of hit had been produced.
After all, making a volleyball change its trajectory over a long distance was not an especially difficult thing.
A relatively easy example to understand was the jump float serve. By using tremendous force, the ball could be made to wobble left and right.
But Hank's spike just now was completely different.
The instant he jumped, he had directly caused the volleyball to make an unprecedented deviation.
It was as if the ball had turned around in midair.
This was the first time they had ever seen something like that.
"Bang!"
A fierce impact rang out.
The libero in the back suddenly felt an unprecedented pressure.
Just as he was preparing to step forward and receive the ball, the volleyball that had been flying straight toward him suddenly changed its trajectory in midair.
An oppressive silence immediately settled over Inarizaki's side of the court.
Every one of them was shocked by Hank's spike.
This guy was simply a monster.
Who could possibly see that kind of pressure from any other athlete?
Just one person was enough to make Inarizaki feel an inexplicable pressure.
It had to be known that Inarizaki was not some random volleyball team.
They were currently a renowned volleyball powerhouse across Japan.
The depth of that team was undeniable. Many starting players from other teams would not even have the qualifications to step onto the court if they came to Inarizaki.
But now, even they had been stunned by Hank's spike.
Even for players like them, this was the first time they had encountered such a spike.
It was indeed so powerful that it was almost unbelievable.
They simply could not say how it had been done.
