Death was everywhere they passed through. When they recall that these 'natural disasters' were ultimately caused by 'someone,' they inevitably feel livid about it.
"Those damned aliens…" Linlin said with gritted teeth as her eyes fixed on the sights around her.
At this, Hans looked at the two in front. "Why didn't the aliens target the government centers?" he asked, just out of curiosity. According to the radio, some cities were obliterated, but the center of power, at least in their country, was okay.
"They never thought much of our species to bother with that kind of scheming," Naia explained. "Further, they needed to absorb as much life as possible. There was no reason to cut down their prey before landing."
Even the natural disasters were designed to weaken the population and shake their spirits. The aliens did nothing else after the Fall, opting to gather energy so they could fully awaken.
