Title: "Before the Last Light"
Characters:
Arian (a dreamer young man)
Nira (Arian's girlfriend, practical and realistic)
Mehedi (Arian's friend)
Arian's Mother
Old Man (a mysterious character)
Scene 1: Evening City Rooftop(Soft wind, dim light in the sky. Arian stands alone.)
Arian:
(looking at the sky)
Is life really this short… or do we make it small ourselves?
(Nira enters)
Nira:
There you go again! Why are you always so philosophical?
Arian:
Because I dream, Nira. And dreams bring questions.
Nira:
Dreams are good, but reality exists too. You don't have a stable job, no clear plan for the future...
Arian:
(smiles)
Does everything have to be planned in advance?
Nira:
Yes, at least a little. Otherwise, people get lost.
(A sense of tension. Lights slowly dim.)
Scene 2: A Tea Stall(Mehedi and Arian sit together.)
Mehedi:
Bro, what do you really want to do?
Arian:
I want to write… create stories. Something people will remember.
Mehedi:
Then do it! Thinking alone won't change anything.
Arian:
(goes silent)
I'm scared… what if I fail?
Mehedi:
No one grows without failure. Just try.
Scene 3: Home, Night(Arian's mother is sitting quietly.)
Mother:
Son, are you truly happy?
Arian:
(softly)
I don't know, Mom…
Mother:
Whatever you do in life, do it with your heart. Don't kill your dreams for others.
(Arian holds her hand.)
Scene 4: Dark Street(Arian walks alone. Suddenly, an old man appears.)
Old Man:
Where are you going, son?
Arian:
I don't know… maybe searching for myself.
Old Man:
To find yourself, you must first lose yourself.
Arian:
(confused)
Who are you?
Old Man:
Me? I am your fear.
(The old man disappears. Lights shift mysteriously.)
Scene 5: Rooftop, Dawn(The sun begins to rise. Nira returns.)
Nira:
You're here?
Arian:
Yes… but I'm different now.
Nira:
What changed?
Arian:
I've decided—I will try. Even if I fail, at least I won't regret not trying.
Nira:
(smiles gently)
That's all I ever wanted.
(They look at the rising sun together.)
Final Scene:(Arian sits alone, writing. His voice is heard—)
Arian (voiceover):
"Life is never perfect. But within its imperfections, the most beautiful stories are born…"
(Lights slowly fade out.)
