Chapter 63 - Ch.63 Asura Island (1)

I can concentrate on consulting thanks to『Divine Unity』, but that's not necessarily the case for Wahwando. In that respect, I have a significant advantage at being able to focus solely on consulting with other worlds.

But when I actually entered the world of Wahwando, I could immediately tell that something was different. Specifically, the flow of time.

[Vein: Hey. The flow of time in this world seems strange. Is that right?]

[Wahwando: Thanks to the mythical trait, 『Time Manipulation』. With it, I have drastically increased the absolute time granted to me, slowed down perceived time, and sped up world time.]

Aha, so time itself moves incredibly fast, so you can spend more time than others, but from God's perspective, the beings of the world move extremely slowly?

As if it were natural, Wahwando, who had no subordinates, seemed to have meticulously controlled his world in this way. It was a bit more sophisticated than Mihun's ignorant technique.

Now, let's consult the world of Wahwando. To do so, we need to clearly understand the current state of Wahwando.

But, when I actually looked at the world, there was something strange.

Three characteristic things.

First, the score is over 600,000. Well, I can do that, so I'll skip over it.

The world is getting bigger and there are more islands, so it must be higher.

Second, is low. Not just low, but the lowest of all abilities. Of course, it looks like a level 7 military power, but judging by the level 11, it was originally over 220,000 points, so it was intentionally lowered.

Third, is crazy. No, I can't express it any other way. It's beyond the highest of all abilities, it's so high it's simply incomprehensible.

"Is it bug?"

Aren't the positions of and reversed? It's inevitable that we'll think this way, because aren't figures limited?

If my creations "perfectly" obey my system, that's the limit of the score. This perfection means no one breaks the law, no one rebels against the system.

But, although the score is high, it is only 20,000 points at level 8. How can a score of 250,000 come from a creation worth 20,000 points?

I tilted my head because I couldn't understand at all, and eventually asked Wahwando.

[Vein: Hey, Wahwando ^^;; How is the score 10 times higher than the score? -ㅅ- I don't understand this.]

[Wahwando: I can't help but wonder, but where on earth does this score come from? No matter how I look at it, I can't see any civilization.]

We both found each other odd, so we gave each other answers. I told him that the score was based on the natural transformation and improvement of living things. He smiled bitterly, asking if such a method existed.

And the score of Wahwando was surprisingly simple.

[Wahwando: scores does not come from .]

[Vein: Yeah?]

[Wahwando: scores come from the "system".]

[Vein: Huh?]

According to the explanation, Wahwando possesses a "flow", but it comes from a world of very limited resources. While it's not entirely absent, it's not a world overflowing with mystery like this.

However, he has a deeper understanding of mystery and flow than I do. He says that the world's corresponds to the of an individual. And is said to be the power that directs one's will and flow in a clear direction.

[Vein: I don't really understand even after listening to it haha. Am I just too ignorant? ㅠㅠ]

[Wahwando: If my soldiers understand the system, sympathize with the system, and move toward it, their score will increase.]

[Vein: No, but anyway, even if you follow my orders 100%, that's the end of it, so even if your score is high, I don't understand what the point is at all ㅠㅠ]

[Wahwando: Oh. This isn't the end. Just think what would happen if your score was higher than being 100% obedient to my orders.]

[Vein: Huh?]

[Wahwando: Even before I give the order, they will already follow the order I give.]

Huh?

Is that how it works?

Now that I think about it, that seems to be the case. If the system is truly secure and everyone sincerely follows it, and if everyone understands the system, they will 'naturally' respond to what the system demands.

It's a bit strange, but if the dictator's personality and tastes are so strong, wouldn't everyone just follow suit without being told to do so?

So, in the world of Wahwando, each member moves towards the goal 'on their own' without having to be told what to do.

There's no need to force anyone to do anything. If each member simply faithfully practices what they've been taught, the country will develop on its own. That's the "system".

By doing so, I was able to easily realize that the 220,000 point score was woefully inadequate. In fact, it made me wonder why I hadn't thought of it before.

Both Wahwando and the angel also claimed he had the highest military power at the "time of conflict". In other words, they weren't the top military power unless it was at the time of the conflict.

So what if the world's "absolute time" is always fixed? That, in turn, means the timing of war can be perfectly predicted.

In other words, Wahwando focused on internal affairs as much as possible before the war, and when the time came to increase military power, he consumed all of the accumulated resources and raised his military power to its maximum.

And after winning the war, the military is no longer needed, so it is disbanded again…

Thanks to the 『Time Manipulation』, that action will be incredibly easy. He also purchased the most appropriate mythical trait.

In other words, rather than being a military genius (although he may actually be a military genius), Wahwando is a genius in administration and system management.

[Vein: Okay, okay, now that I know everything there is to know, I'll figure it out >-<]

[Wahwando: Yes. Now, my question is, do those people have some sort of political system? Could you explain that to me?]

I kindly explained to them about the groups that formed society but did not form a system.

In a way, Seisaisa, Mihun, and Wahwando. The three of them and I have gone in completely different directions.

The worldly being that is not interested in material things and only cares about the spiritual world.

Mihun is indifferent to the majority of living beings, focusing only on a small number of superior individuals.

Wahwando is indifferent to living according to instinct, focusing only on a rational education and a firm system based on law.

However, consulting doesn't mean denying the other person's build. It should support them so that it harmonizes with their build.

I did not destroy the spiritual world of the Seisaisa, but evolved their elephants and brought them life.

Mihun is the same. His world was left untouched, only increasing efficiency.

Wouldn't something like that be possible in the world of Wahwando? Couldn't we make it ecologically healthier without disturbing its absolute and entrenched system?

To do that, I must first know the world of Wahwando.

To be more precise, I need to know the species of Wahwando, those So-Ra-Gae.

I observed the ecology and cultural life of the hermit crabs by having time correspond with each other on a 1:1 basis.

Although they are all lumped together as hermit crabs, there are distinct differences between hermit crabs in the world of Wahwando.

Small hermit crabs. By small, I mean about 30 to 60 centimeters in diameter. These individuals can move quickly and are skilled, suggesting they belong to the craftsman class.

Medium hermit crab. An average hermit crab, about 140 centimeters tall. Appearing to be a member of the main species, it has a thick shell, strong pincers, jaws, eyes, and tentacles that can be used as hands.

For reference, it is incredibly strong. It is so strong that it can cut the arms and legs of a Homo sapiens in half with its claw grip. It moves quite fast even with its shell on, and when it sheds its shell, it seems to run almost as fast as a wolf. Its grip strength is so great, that they can even climb trees well.

A large hermit crab. A large hermit crab that is over 2 meters long. Its pincers are enormous and its body is heavy.

The most astonishing thing about these hermit crabs is their incredible speed. They can run at the speed of a buffalo. Even with their shells on, they can reach speeds of up to 50 kilometers per hour. Their claw grip strength would surpass that of a tiger's and it's a type of palm claw that doesn't turn its shell inside out.

There are some good differences, and they're at different sizes, but they're still "humans". They're quite adept at handling tools with their claws and feelers, and they're also fast.

Broadly speaking, these are the four species. What's interesting is that their system is clearly a class system, but that class seems to be determined not by species or size but by ability.

While these hermit crabs are quite interesting to observe in their own right, there are a few ecological characteristics that are noteworthy.

Firstly, they are 100% carnivorous. They don't eat anything else—not grass, not fruits, vegetables, or grains. They only eat meat, sometimes raw or cooked. They're quite good at fishing. Rather than raising fish, they simply keep a lake and catch a reasonable amount, keeping the fish numbers under control.

Secondly, the shell that the hermit crab uses is its most distinctive feature.

It doesn't seem to be used for body protection.

Then why are they wearing that? I looked and it turned out to be just 'clothes'.

About 50% of it is for aesthetic purposes, and 50% of it is for protecting oneself from sunlight or magic... so, it seems to be used for protection against 'flow' rather than physical attacks.

Honestly, if the weather is nice, even Homo sapiens can walk around almost naked, wearing a crop top and hot pants, and if it's cold, they can bundle up in a long padded jacket.

Their shells are just like that. They use different shells depending on the weather and situation.

Ah. Now that I look at it, the things soldiers wear have armor functions. Even the shells used by soldiers are actually used as armor, storing things like food, clothing, and medicine inside, but the ones for civilians are more useful... So, they basically use it like a bag that they carry around with their body inside.

Some even have wheels attached to their shells to make them easier to move around. The Crab Civilization is fun.

Thirdly, mushrooms grown in underground farms are probably considered meat. They're not plants, after all. In any case, mushrooms are considered a low-quality food, and underground mushroom farms are no different from livestock feed.

As for livestock, they raise things like the herbivorous pigs mentioned above, but if you think about the evolutionary tree, it seems like they are raising livestock of a different species.

These guys' lives are roughly like this.

First, they are born from eggs. They bravely break open their shells with a hammer and emerge, using the egg they were born in as their shell as they grow. When they grow old and it's time to replace their shells, they receive a shell as a gift from their parents.

And as they grow older, they change their shells, and pass down the smaller shells they used before to their younger siblings or other friends.

Then, they reach a time when the body does not grow any further due to a vertical limit and their size remains the same even after molting. Then, it becomes an adult. Until adulthood, they only study thoroughly, and when they become an adult and reach sexual maturity, they immediately start a family and become a member of society.

This is a bit harsh, but if an individual cannot keep up with the training course or has a serious disability, they are simply killed.

Even if they have difficulty moving, if they have no intellectual impairment, they will still be used as workers. However, if they have an intellectual impairment, they will be killed unconditionally. If they fail in school, they will be killed.

Call it cruelty, or call it the law of nature. Eliminating the less fortunate is a natural instinct shared by all Homo sapiens.

Anyway, when they grow up, they will do military training and at the same time, they will work as a worker in society and do a job that suits their aptitude.

It was just that, but it felt like everyone was a cog in the wheel.

Ah. But they did have fun. They didn't just make them work. They had parties, sang, danced, performed, and did everything.

Well, so… if you look at it from a consulting perspective, it's simple.

In this ecosystem, everything works perfectly as long as the population increases.

These guys' system is so perfect that I can't and won't mess with it. And this guys' system will easily handle any population.

And to increase their population, either the food supply must increase or fewer members of society must die.

Anyone can imagine this far, and indeed, Wahwando has done everything he can to provide food for the world. Farming, forestry, hunting, fishing—they're doing everything they can, and as a trade-centric player, they've also managed to acquire a fair amount of their own biological resources, making a decent living.

"This is awkward."

The fundamental problem is this.

Because the world is centered on , the destruction of the world's environment is frankly too severe.

No, look, a quarter of the world is a wasteland with nothing but grass growing on it, and half is urban, practically industrial.

In fact, three-quarters of the world is in a catastrophic situation where the terrain level has hit rock bottom and all resources have been literally squeezed out.

Isn't this the fundamental strategy of cutting off one's own flesh and destroying the opponent instead?

Even though Seisaisa destroyed nature, he didn't build a city on top of it. But this guy is completely squandering resources and building the environment he wants, so any consulting would be pointless.

It seems like he is systematically raising the terrain level because Mihun told him to.

It seems that the spirit world has been advised by the Seisaisa.

The area that was expanded to the extent that it had the fewest living things was the {Great Underground}.

Even if you try to advise them on agriculture, they only eat meat and not plants, but meat-eating is inherently less energy efficient than herbivory.

Carnivores ultimately eat herbivores, and the intermediate process is incredibly energy inefficient.

Even though their score is high, they're barely past the Ancient Era. In terms of technology here, these guys can't even produce food in factories. What on earth can I advise them on?

"Mr. Vein? Why are you suddenly like this?"

The angel who had been silently watching me suffer asked, but I was lost in thought.

I thought about it for a moment. Wait a minute, will this work? No, no matter how much I think about it, it doesn't seem like it'll be possible to achieve the level of ancient times.

But. Is it okay if the of these guys is absolutely obedient to God's instructions and even surpasses them...?

"Huh?"

We will now begin introducing factory farming/livestock farming.

"Huh?"
