Chapter 82 - A Leviathan’s Breath and a Weaver’s Death

The skeletal fin didn't just pass; it displaced the very concept of space. As the Leviathan glided through the crimson current, the "Ghost-Citadel" was tossed like a leaf in a gale of non-existence. The "Temporal Hem" Alicia had stitched began to fray, the red and indigo threads screaming as they were stretched across the creature's massive, silent wake.

"Stabilize the phase!" Alicia roared, slamming her palms onto the obsidian console. The violet ink on her arms pulsed so brightly it began to smoke. "If we snap back into reality while that thing is over us, we'll be crushed by its sheer mass!"

The Leviathan turned. It didn't have eyes—at least, not in the way humans understood them. Its "head" was a vast, translucent crystalline dome, inside of which drifted the glowing, frozen remains of an entire solar system. It didn't see the city; it sensed a pocket of "Meaning" in its void, and it was curious.

A massive, ethereal tentacle—each sucker a swirling nebula—descended toward the High Spire.

"It's not attacking," the Architect whispered, his translucent form flickering wildly. "It's trying to *read* us. It thinks we're a lost thought."

"I'm not being a footnote in a monster's lunch!" Nelluru shouted. She lunged into the center of the Spire, her lime-green aura turning into a piercing, focused needle of energy. She thrust her blade upward, not to cut the tentacle, but to inject a burst of pure, raw "Physicality" into the Leviathan's touch.

The Leviathan recoiled. To a creature of pure void and memory, the sharp, stinging "Truth" of Nelluru's life-force was like a hot needle to the skin. It let out a soundless vibration that shattered every remaining window in the Citadel and sent the city-beast tumbling out of the Loom-Current.

The "Ghost-Veil" shattered. The Citadel snapped back into solid reality with a bone-jarring thud, landing on a surface that shouldn't exist: a desert of white sand made entirely of crushed diamonds and clockwork gears.
