Chapter 154 - Chap.151 - Sausage lips

After the twins left with Jack, Rigel finally started talking to Calypso about important things.

"I need brooms." Rigel commented.

"Brooms?" Calypso raised an eyebrow, curious.

"Yes, Nimbus 2000, one for me, one for Draco." Rigel said, then paused thoughtfully for a moment and added. "And one for Harry."

"Harry Potter?" Calypso paused for a moment, then smiled. "You really became friends with the 'savior'?"

Calypso, of course, had already become accustomed to the wizarding world, at least when it came to the history related to the last few years, she knew quite a lot.

Rigel simply shrugged and said. "Let's join the Quidditch team, I thought a broomstick would be a nice gift."

'And it's a good way to get closer...' - Rigel thought.

"Quidditch, isn't it? A fun game. Since you're joining the team, I'll show up for all your games, cheering you on." Calypso's eyes gleamed, another opportunity to 'mark her territory'.

Rigel ignored the woman, calmly drinking his coffee.

Calypso didn't mind, but taking advantage of the fact that there was no one around, she moved closer to Rigel and hugged him for a while. Rigel looked away, pretending not to care, until Calypso started rubbing against him, causing him to push her away.

Calypso pouted, as usual, but quickly dismissed the thought and continued. "And what about Draco?"

Rigel paused for a moment, sighed, and recounted what had happened in the class.

Calypso burst into laughter. "What an easy-going little boy! Alright, let's get him a broom too."

The matter ended there, brooms, though expensive for ordinary families, didn't make them blink an eye. Rigel then began asking for other things, such as dragon scales, unicorn horns, phoenix feathers, whatever she could find. Calypso had the scales and feathers, so Rigel pocketed them, they would serve as a good example for her transmutation.

Perhaps he could sense the inner magic of these things if he tried hard enough.

Finally, they changed the subject again, Rigel asked. "How's your memory spell going?"

"That's enough." Calypso nodded, shrugging. "While it's unlikely to pass a serious review, we're not dealing with wizards."

Rigel paused for a moment, lost in thought. "Then we'll do it tomorrow."

He didn't want to delay any longer, so what was he doing? Arranging legal identities for Clemens and Anna.

"Okay, have you thought about where we should leave them?" Calypso asked, not caring much about it.

"Clemens graduated from Cambridge, but that was centuries ago. Muggle medicine has advanced a lot since then, at most, the knowledge he has serves as a foundation." Rigel shrugged. "Let him go back to studying, we just need to find him a place."

Calypso rolled her eyes. "This is going to take a long time."

They would need to change not only the minds of the residents of the small town Clemens and Anna were coming from, but also public records, school records, medical records, property titles...

Honestly, the ID card Calypso used was really good, if Clemens were a wizard, the process would have been much more complicated.

Rigel could only shrug, he just needed to go along with it. Calypso would be responsible for the entire process, at most, Rigel would help with the paperwork.

Calypso complained a little more, but in truth she was somewhat happy inside, after all she would be spending the day with Rigel.

The subject changed again, this time much more lightly, like what they both did in their daily lives. Calypso spoke about the people she knew, about some wizards who ordered specific potions, and even a potions master who sent an invitation to renowned potions masters. It was presented as a debate, but in reality, it was just a disguised 'gala' event. In fact, this was clearly Slughorn's doing, the man loved this type of event where talented people gathered.

Especially since he was responsible for teaching these talented students, unfortunately Calypso had already graduated, which must have been a shame for the man.

Calypso said the event would take place in about a month, and she also suggested she might bring a guest, looking at Rigel with evident excitement.

Rigel's lips trembled.

Woman, I'm only 11 years old, okay? 11 years old! You're a goddess, you've lived who knows how long, because you seem completely incapable of being patient?!

In the end, Rigel said nothing more than that he would think about it.

Calypso smiled excitedly, already starting to chatter about buying a new suit for Rigel, she knew that although Rigel spoke harshly, most of the time he yielded easily.

Rigel's lips trembled, but he simply drank his coffee without commenting while Calypso's monologue continued.

Shortly after, the twins ran back, laughing, with Jack hiding behind Fred's head. Behind them, Kreacher appeared, his wrinkled face with wide eyes. Rigel could immediately smell the foul odor emanating from Kreacher.

Calypso blinked for a moment, stunned, then burst into laughter, clearly having understood the situation without needing any information. Fred and George seemed somewhat embarrassed seeing Rigel's expressionless stare, and Jack didn't even show his face, trying everything to hide behind Fred's head.

It really had nothing to do with him this time! Well, he may or may not have nodded strongly at the twins' suggestion, but he didn't do anything!

Seeing the smelly elf, as well as the 'canned fart' in George's hand, Rigel scratched the bridge of his nose with his eyes closed.

He really didn't know what to say about these troublemakers.

Rigel didn't stay long, he went with Fred and George to visit Hogsmeade. Although he had done this before, it didn't detract from the twins' joy in taking him to interesting places.

The students he encountered in Hogsmeade were surprised by Rigel's appearance, but seeing him alongside the twins, they simply shook their heads, averting their gaze, it wasn't their problem.

Rigel was speechless, he clearly came there with permission, right? However, in any case, it was better this way, at least he wouldn't have to explain himself every time.

That was until they passed by Madame Puddifoot's tea house, where the twins decided to play a prank on Percy, who was with his girlfriend, a blonde Ravenclaw whose name Rigel couldn't remember. Anyway, Rigel ended up being dragged along by the irritated Percy, whose lips were swollen as if he'd been stung by bees, they looked like two sausages as he tried to speak.

Rigel tried, unsuccessfully, not to burst into laughter, but the good news was that everyone who saw it, including Madame Puddifoot herself and Percy's girlfriend, burst into laughter.

In the end, Rigel didn't even get a chance to explain himself as the purist Percy dragged Rigel back to Hogwarts.

Rigel didn't fight back, after all, he felt a little guilty for Percy. Initially, George only suggested pretending Percy had farted to embarrass him in front of his girlfriend.

Rigel may or may not have commented that it would be even funnier if he kissed her with sausage lips, imagine his surprise when the twins actually took some powder that caused swelling and put it on the rim of Percy's cup.

The process involved an improvised distraction, and Percy's girlfriend remained silent throughout the event, finding it funny enough to let it play out.

Percy didn't find it funny, and at the end of the day, Rigel ended up in front of McGonagall while Percy struggled to explain what had happened.

Rigel seemed to see, very, very briefly, McGonagall's serious facade crumble.

It was just a fraction of a second, her lips almost lifted, but she managed to hold them back.

In the end, Rigel had to explain to McGonagall what happened, only for McGonagall to explain to Percy that Rigel lived in Hogsmeade.

This left Percy speechless, even more so when McGonagall deducted points from Gryffindor and punished the twins for what they did to Percy.

Percy was more than happy to see the twins get punished, but he hated losing points, which only made him glare at the twins with obvious irritation, and with his thick lips, made everything seem less serious than it should have been.

Rigel apologized to Percy at the end and went to look for his friends.

However, he smiled as he left, looking at a photograph of Percy with swollen lips, one he had taken while Percy was still disoriented. The magical image was animated, and the sight of a babbling Percy looked truly hilarious.

He quickly tucked the photo away, it might come in handy later, and at the very least, it was a nice memento.

It was worth keeping, heh.
