Chapter 81 - Chap.80 - Demigod

He didn't stop, taking the crown from his bag, the crown was made of gold, with points as sharp as stones from a reef, and three settings that fit the sapphires perfectly.

He sighed, first removing the orange sapphire from the trident and placing it in the center. The next moment, the sapphire was completely fitted, it didn't seem to be fitted, but as if it were emerging from the crown itself.

He sighed, took Triton's sword from his waist, and was ready to figure out how to remove the colorless sapphire, but instead the crown seemed to understand his intentions, the sapphire slipped comfortably from the trident and nestled into the left side of the crown.

Rigel blinked in surprise, picked up the shell, and the blue sapphire emerged from it, entering the crown.

The moment the three sapphires were joined, a wave of energy emanated from the Crown, causing all of Atlantis to tremble, as well as the surrounding sea.

Calypso, who had been silently gazing at a tomb, widened her eyes, looking out towards the palace, she transformed into water as she rapidly moved away at high speed.

Rigel, gazing at the floating crown, picked it up. He felt a strong connection to it, and in the next moment, without much thought, he took off his Pirate Hat and placed it on his head.

As soon as the crown clicked into place, Rigel's eyes turned directly blue, the wave of energy from the crown seemed to have found a source to unleash itself.

Rigel felt his strength increase even further, and moreover, it seemed there was something more, he took a deep breath.

Looking at the Adventure Book, which opened as soon as he looked at it.

Rigel sensed the growing power, his magic growing stronger, and stared intently at the information he had received. This crown... although the first four abilities were still a degraded version of Aquaman, the fifth ability is almost ridiculous.

Is this the power of a god?

If that was all it was (Rainbow - Pseudo), how strong is a true Rainbow? Would it transform directly into a god?

However, the final warning in the Adventure Book left Rigel sweating profusely, he didn't want to spend the rest of his life underwater, even though he would probably become immortal that way.

As Rigel was thinking, he sensed something, about to take off the crown, looking to his right, a stream of water appeared not far from him. The water slowly reformed, taking the form of a woman, Calypso.

Calypso looked at Rigel with wide eyes, she said nothing, nor did he, they just stared at each other.

She gazed at the divine power emanating from Rigel, his crystalline blue eyes focused on hers, and the crown on his head. Her eyes focused on the crown, it was clearly the Triton sapphires, clearly the power of Triton, but Rigel didn't seem to be suffering from directly receiving the divine power. Instead, he seemed to be perfectly fused with it.

Calypso had seen many demigods, Rigel had clearly reached that level.

If she hadn't traveled with Rigel and touched him, she would have thought he was truly a demigod, but he had no divine power whatsoever. Besides, Triton was already dead, how could he have a child?

Even so, in her eyes, Rigel seemed to break all the rules.

In the end, only one question escaped her lips. "How?"

Rigel stared at her, with the utmost nonchalance, shrugged, he couldn't explain it, so he left it at that.

Near the sea, still wearing the crown, Rigel glanced at the still confused Calypso not far away, but ignored her. Instead, he jumped straight into the sea. As soon as he touched the water, his form changed rapidly, only his bag remained fixed at his waist and the wand holster on his wrist, with the wand still attached to it.

Rigel took a deep breath, the feeling was completely different. He felt as if he had been reborn in the water, his body filled with strength, his magic becoming even more powerful.

He wagged his tail slightly, it didn't feel strange, but as if he had used that fish tail so much that it had become muscle memory.

The next moment, it used its tail to propel itself, and not only that, but it used the water to propel itself forward.

Rigel felt like a torpedo, the water offered almost no resistance, he didn't even need to close his eyes, he became a blur passing through the water.

The next moment, he felt a figure beside him. Before, he couldn't even sense Calypso approaching, but now he could feel that divine power. She appeared beside him, her form the same as his, a mermaid.

With a red fish tail, but her breasts exposed, she swam beside him with a smile on her face, she had given up trying to understand Rigel.

Instead, she seemed excited.

She approached and took his hand, the next moment, Rigel felt as if it were an impulse, and the two disappeared into the water, no, they transformed into water, two currents intertwining, flowing through the sea.

Rigel felt very strange in this form, but at the same time it seemed right.

They swam around Atlantis several times, playing in the water, and with Calypso's help, he understood his powers even better.

Although his power was much less than hers, they were very similar.

Finally, with his time almost up, when Rigel emerged from the water, back in human form, he still had a serious expression, but Calypso, who came out beside him, was smiling very happily.

Rigel shook his head, feeling the power of the crown, but in the end he took it off, feeling the power leaving his body, he felt as if he had drunk two liters of energy drink, run a marathon, and then was suffering the shock.

He almost fell.

Calypso frowned, looking at the crown. She could still sense some of Triton's power in Rigel, but without the crown, he had lost his divinity, appearing more like an ordinary merman.

"Why take it off?" She asked, confused.

"Because I'm not going to go around wearing a shiny crown with blue eyes." Rigel rolled his eyes at her. He wouldn't tell her that this thing could transform him into a water elemental, unable to ever leave the sea, if he did, she would probably force him to use it.

In any case, the crown was attached to him, he could retrieve it at any time.

It took him a while to adjust while Calypso was still staring at him.

"You can." She said. "You can follow me to the sea, you can be king, those mermaids would be pleased to feel your power so close to Triton, you could live eternally with me, we can rebuild Atlantis if you want, together."

Rigel stopped, looking at her.

In fact, he could stay in this world for centuries, he could live like a king here, leaving Atlantis submerged forever, he could live inside the sea. For a moment, he felt he didn't need to leave, no longer afraid of Dumbledore and Voldemort. If it had been sooner, he might have found this place paradise, but thinking of everything he would lose...

Never again able to set foot on the earth...

Besides magic, from his world and from the worlds of adventure, could make him much, much stronger.

Before, he just wanted to live his life, afraid of the future, but after experiencing this feeling of power, he wanted more.

If he stays here as a demigod, one day he might end up dying. He didn't know how gods like Poseidon and Triton died, but they did die, let alone a demigod like him.

Sure, even if he dies in this world, he would still return to the Harry Potter universe, but he would return with nothing, except for the rainbow bounty.

He's already seen the power of a pseudo-rainbow reward, so how strong is a true rainbow reward?

In the end, Rigel admitted that he had become greedy.

He looked at Calypso, sensing that rare fragility in the woman again, and with a sigh, he said. "This isn't my home."

Calypso looked at him as if she had been betrayed, the clouds in the sky seemed to sense the fury growing in the woman, the weather closing in, the rain beginning to fall, she let out a scream that shook Atlantis, furious, she did not attack Rigel, she simply transformed into water, flowing away to the sea.

Rigel frowned in pain, his eardrums nearly bursting. After calming down for a moment, still somewhat deaf, Rigel looked back to where she had gone.

For a moment, he felt as if he had done something wrong, but in the end, he shook his head, he wouldn't change his mind. He longed to live there like a king, but he wanted more than just to be a king trapped at the bottom of the sea.
