Bonus chapter [6] - 960 Power Stones
--x--
Rigel gripped Triton's Sword firmly, a sword too large and heavy for an 11-year-old to wield. Rigel could barely hold it, let alone use it in battle, but that wasn't what this sword was for, at least not for Rigel.
He turned to port, pointed his sword at the interceptor, felt his magic being slightly drained, a minuscule amount, the sword didn't need much of his power to be used, instead, it was a potent source of magic in its own right.
Above the pirates' eyes, the interceptor slowly began to creak, a creaking that quickly grew louder. The sight that followed was strange in many ways, if Rigel hadn't already been accustomed to magic, he and his crew would have been speechless.
The Interceptor began to shrink, its wood creaking constantly, it wasn't fast, but it was steady, taking about 20 seconds, but in the end, a small ship that looked like an extremely detailed 'toy' floated in front of Rigel.
Yes, it floated, it wasn't a spell cast by his wand, it was the power of the sword, control over inanimate objects, including that small ship.
Rigel controlled the ship to fall into his hand, its weight was no different from a toy. Rigel smiled, this could be useful.
Blackbeard had dozens of these ships.
"The bottle." He asked. Marty approached, a bottle already prepared in his hand, swallowing hard, his eyes still fixed on the small ship in Rigel's hands.
Rigel didn't care, using the power of his sword, the bottle floated while the Interceptor floated again from Rigel's hand. The Interceptor shrank even further, passing through the hole in the bottle, growing again inside. Water appeared at the bottom of the bottle lying down, while a small version of a stormy sky formed above the top.
Rigel nodded, handing the bottle to Jack over his shoulder. "Go on, put it with the others."
"Yes, master!" Jack shouted, jumping off his shoulder, bottle held high above his head, he ran across the floor to Rigel's room.
Rigel looked away, his gaze returning to the sword in his hand. He sensed that although the sword possessed great power, that power seemed to emanate from the sea beneath it. He wagered that the further from the sea, the less power the sword would hold, a pity.
However, in this world, it was still a useful artifact, any naval battle, barring the supernatural, is now extremely easy for him.
The enemy's own ship would turn against him.
But that wasn't all, he could feel the same powers of the pirate hat in that sword, or rather, in the triton sapphire embedded in it. The wind around him, the sea below him, although not enough to command them like Poseidon's trident, was enough to influence them, to make them act for him as he sailed, further accelerating the speed of his ship.
Rigel would have bet a Nuque that one of the sapphires was in Poseidon's trident, although he had no idea where the last one was.
However, while the pirate hat was a constantly active effect, where Rigel only needed to activate it and keep it activated, the sword required constant concentration, just like a wand.
Shaking his head, Rigel sheathed the sword, fastened to the right side of his waist. Although it looked funny for a child to walk around with it, the sword was too useful to be kept in his bag.

Ragnarok sailed again, now with a new captain and a new name. Rigel had already set the course and had too much to do to stand still.
Whether he was going after the fountain of youth, Poseidon's trident, or Triton's sapphire.
Unfortunately, Rigel discovered something, as soon as he searched for Poseidon's Trident or Triton's sapphire, the compass began to spin wildly.
This left him stunned for a moment, he didn't think the compass would point to anything he desired, for example, a god. He didn't know where the compass had come from, but he didn't believe it was omnipotent.
Therefore, he wouldn't be surprised if the compass didn't point to something of great power, however, he didn't expect Poseidon's trident to be one of those things.
The reason was the film itself. What divine weapon could break against a simple sword? Rigel didn't believe that thing was really that powerful, but perhaps, as he thought, the power was never the trident, but the sapphire inside it.
Triton was a god, son of Poseidon, so the power of the three sapphires likely falls into the "divine" category.
This was a problem, fortunately, Rigel still knew where the trident was, but the problem of retrieving it remained. After all, the trident wasn't in the open, but at the bottom of the sea. Without the ruby used to open the passage in the sea, finding and recovering it may be impossible, even if he went there.
So he shifted his focus to obtaining Carina's diary, the only thing Barbossa had given his daughter before leaving her at an orphanage, an astronomy diary and a star map that had belonged to Galileo Galilei.
The problem? Carina hasn't even been born yet! Rigel doesn't even know if Barbossa has been resurrected. Fortunately, unlike the trident, the compass could point to the diary.
Rigel had two choices, go after the diary or go to the fountain of youth.
The Fountain of Youth is part of the Legendary Flintlock achievement, just like the Trident, so in the end, it was simply a matter of personal choice.
Rigel gave up thinking and left it to chance, flipping a coin, heads for the fountain of youth, tails for Galileo Galilei's diary.
When the coin landed, Rigel's fate was decided.
[A/N: Yes, I'm evil, find out where Rigel is going in the next episode of... Cof, cof. actually, I really flipped a coin, lmao.]
