Queen Anne's Revenge, a notorious name indeed. Ship of Edward Teach, more popularly known as Blackbeard.
Its origin was a French slave ship called La Concorde, which Blackbeard captured and modified, adding cannons and a flamethrower to the bow, renaming it in support of man's rebellion against King George I and his Hanoverian monarchy.
Queen Anne was the last monarch of the Stuart dynasty, queen of England, Scotland, and Ireland, apparently, Edward Teach had enough appreciation for her to name his ship after her.
Rigel had no idea what Blackbeard was doing in the waters near Spain, the man's area of operation remained close to the Caribbean and the east coast of the North American colonies. But Rigel wasn't there to find out what Blackbeard was doing, but to finally get a good ship.
Although he no longer needed to sleep in hammocks, he still wanted more privacy and firepower.
It was a pity for Teach that Rigel had his eye on his ship.
When the three-masted ship with wine-red sails was finally sighted, the crew seemed both excited and apprehensive.
Their future home was in sight, but Blackbeard was so infamous that most pirates were afraid of him.
The man was known for his cruelty, yet, seeing Rigel at the bow, his diminutive figure seemed to rise, a feeling of confidence dawning in their eyes.
Rigel stood still for a moment, he had already given considerable thought to how to deal with Teach.
The fact is, getting close is foolish. Teach has the Sword of Triton, a sword that can control inanimate objects, including the Interceptor at his feet. Furthermore, the sword also had magic that could shrink ships, if the Interceptor were shrunk, they would fall into the sea, making his situation even more complicated.
However, Blackbeard is a living man, not a ghost or a cursed zombie, which means he can die like any other man dies.
This made everything much easier for Rigel.
The anchor dropped and the interceptor came to a stop in the open sea, the next moment, dozens of sea snakes began falling from the ship.
They are all advancing rapidly towards Revenge.
"Go, little ones, kill that evil man." Rigel smiled, it was a pity for Blackbeard, but Rigel is a pirate too.
The Interceptor's pirate crew seemed excited when they saw this, pleased that they wouldn't have to participate in a naval battle.
The Revenge seemed to have spotted the Interceptor, because it changed course and began heading towards it, but Rigel wasn't worried. Instead, he waved his wand, and Diabolus reappeared. Rigel made the snake grow to 10 meters before advancing towards the Revenge. Through Diabolus's eyes, Rigel saw that the snakes had already climbed onto the Revenge and were attacking the crew. Unfortunately, the zombies weren't affected by the venom, so Rigel controlled Diabolus to attack them.
It was a massacre, compared to the curses, Blackbeard's zombification was only average.
The zombies barely had time to scream before being dissolved into black mist.
When Teach finally realized something was wrong, emerging from his cabin with his sword drawn, he didn't even have time to attack, three snakes lunged at him, one from above, another from his side, and the last one directly in front of him.
Teach yelled and cut the snake in front of him, and dodged the one coming from the side, but the one above fell on him. He screamed as the snake bit his neck. Teach dropped his sword, letting out a cry, trying to pull the snake from his neck.
Seeing this, Rigel controlled Diabolus to advance, the snake swallowed Teach whole, Teach screamed in pain as he was quickly dissolved.
Edward Teach had died.
